Let's post our to-do lists and motivate each other to get 'em done!

Whether it be because you're a procrastinator, play too many video games, are just lazy or are unmotivated for some other reason, I think we all have a list of things we'd like to get done in the back of our minds. We're all gamers, but wouldn't it feel much better to play a video game after we've erased an item from that to-do list? I think it would. So let's post those lists and help each other get productive. We can edit our posts to keep them updated and hopefully they'll get smaller and smaller. For my list, I'm just going to list the more important things first and after those get done, I'll start adding some others. Also, when I do my list, I like to break down the big jobs into several smaller ones. Baby steps yo! Try to find the most motivating way to list your tasks and before you know it, you might be checking off that last item. LET'S DO IT!

To-do list:

-Finish the vocals for Nekofrog's song.

-Write some lyrics for that guy who wants to be an anime composer.

-Finish that other rap song I started.

-Translate the OCR interviews

-Translate the OCR sidebar

-Do Billy's Boot Camp at least twice a week!!!

-Work on the Musician Interview Neta.

Today's Goal(2009/04/03):} Already did stuff. Time to slack off by reading about how to use RPG Maker XP well.

4. Marinate in existential dread

That's one heck of a sauce you're marinating in. . . At least you're trying to find a job.

Although not very slow, if you're interested in a mix of choir and metal, I recommend checking out the album Symphony of Enchanted Lands Pt. 2 by Rhapsody. You might like it.

1. Bug CHIPP Damage to keep working on his RPG Maker RPG so I can play it someday.

2. Actually get around to starting my planned remix of Boomer Kuwangers theme

3. Avoid failing the CA program

4. Actually start and finish my assignments before the day before they're due (re: number 3)

5. Actually sit down and practice the drums at least three times a week

6. Limit my game playing to perhaps 1-2 hours a night max so as to give me the time to do all of the above.

I'll start with number 1 I guess. Get to work CHIPP. I want progress, not excuses. :D

1. Build up my home based business enough for me to stop working and focus only on school and help 100 people do the same.

2. Finish school (about a year left). Thought, its probably going to be longer since I am now interested in taking Music classes. This kinda sucks for me because I can only go to school part time.

3. Get the hell out of Louisiana.

4. Have a house and garden featured on the "Better Homes and Gardens" magazine.

5. Learn Spanish, French, and Japanese.

6. Rebuild a 95 Nissan Maxima into a street racer, even though I will not race with it.

1. Lower time spent on OCR daily.

2. increase time spent playing guitar/bass daily.

3. Watch what I eat.

4. Manage my money better (because every time I see some album in Best Buy OMG WTF IS THIS QUEENSRŸCHE MUST BUY)

5. Get those Avenged Sevenfold tabs

7. Talk to that babe in economics class

8. Learn how to use FruityLoops or Reaper (or whatever else :P)

Today's Goal: Record a WIP for the Seiken Densetsu 3 project - or tommorow

Some of you mentioned spending less time playing video games. To be fair this isn't a problem for me :P I just don't feel like 'em anymore. (Save for RE5 and SFIV)

My problem isn't even that I play a lot of video games. I just play a lot for the amount of free time I have which should be spent doing school work. Having a full time job where I'm expected to work over time and do course work towards my professional designation sucks. I still haven't figured out when I get to sleep if I actually do all the things on my list. Maybe I can squeeze in a few minutes on weekends.

Hahaha. I haven't forgotten about my RPG in the making yo. I've got all these cool ideas and characters but now I'm having trouble putting it all in order as one cohesive story. But I'm glad someone's interested. Thanks.

4. Finish EP my band made (got like, 3 or 4 songs our singer is recording tomorrow, need to track down some girl singers, and need to mix it all)

5. Finish my damn Super Metroid Remix (and potentially my Metroid Fusion one too)

Before Summer

1. Pass my AP tests (preferably with 4s or 5s)

2. Play a live show (even if opening)

3. Party

Before College

1. Clean out closet/buy new clothes/get new fitteds & kicks

2. Lose weight

3. Figure out how to shrink studio space
