Symphony of Science

Hey guys, I'm still a pretty solid lurker, but I felt that this was worth sharing. Really, I wanted to get the opinions of the more musically-inclined people here:

I apologize if this is old; I searched the forums and didn't find anything matching it. Either way, it's pretty wild--taking Quotes from Richard Feyman, Stephen Hawking, Bill Nye, etc, and running them through a vocoder(I think), and making some pretty mellow tunes with some awesome messages intertwined within.

I have no affiliation with the guy(s) who put this together, I just wanted to see what others here think. I'm impressed with it. Check out "A Still More Glorious Dawn Awaits."

Bumping this.

I've heard this guy A LOT on Nerdy Show, and I have to say, he's my new favorite nerd musician (sorry guys). He's also made me want to read the Cosmos book by Carl Sagan that my father gave to me when I was a kid.

Here's his most recent video:

Still my favorite:

New Symphony of Science video on climate change: http://youtu.be/HHP9Rh-ooh0

On a side note, melodysheep said in one of his videos that the only reason he doesn't use Carl Sagan anymore is that his wife has asked for him to stop using him in his videos.

Although I believe that if Sagan were alive today, that he would wholeheartedly allow him to use his materials for the sake of promoting science.

Hard to say for sure considering things like this:

If Sagan's family asked melodysheep not to use Sagan's material in his videos, they're idiots.

Symphony of Science is the absolute embodiment of everything Sagan stood for: bringing a love of science to the masses. It is because of SoS that I became a fan of Sagan and of Cosmology in general.
