I don't want to seem hand in the face or anything but seriously; you keep bringing it up in the thread to the point where it seems you're trying to wear me down about it. I'm not gonna change my mind.

I appreciate that you just want to contribute, but surely it makes sense to respect the work of the musicians by at least letting them name their own work? Every other project was named either by its directors or its members, because its fair to them.

Anyway this topic is just beating a dead horse now. Please don't bring it up again, I've explained my decision several times.

EDIT: Well the problem was you keep bringing it up - if there's no problem stop complaining :P.

Think of it from a "FF9 belongs to everyone" standpoint. Besides, the artists ARE naming their songs. I'm sure not everyone will be happy with the name the album gets, but we can't have 40 different names for it. Also it doesn't hurt to let fans talk about a name they would like, even if it's not what you eventually go with. If nothing else, it keeps the thread alive. :-P

I'm doing a soundtrackish rendition of Immoral Melody/Footsteps of Desire. I might claim another track or two later, but I only have time for this one right now (I'm also doing a couple of tracks for the Secret of Mana 2 project, and beside the remixing I have some serious university business to take care of, otherwise I'll be skinned alive and eaten).

Not sure how many orchestral mixes are in the works overall, though.

As fun as that topic is; let's talk about much more important things like the fact we have 3 WAVs already in the project folder, and several more tracks nearly finished.

Stevo: I've been trying to find some piano/orchestral specialists but with little luck so far. Here's hoping.

If you have any ideas about people to ask - that is something you can certainly suggest and I'll see if I can convince 'em. If there's one thing I do want to hear it's who the listeners would like to hear more of.

Project folder? Where's that at? I sent you a PM by the way!

Which songs would be good for piano performance?

Wow... I joined OCremix's forums when I learned of this project, and for good reason.

I have listened to the remixes on this site for at least a year now, and they've all been great. The albums are usually pure gold.

I'm just surprised that no one's picked Jesters of the Moon or Sleepless City Treno. Both have catchy melodies, I thought. Just seeing this project makes me wish I had some measure of musical talent...

Really looking forward to this Album. So many good remixers are listed on the tracks!

Alright, here's a topic I have lots of opinions on!

BogusRed is a piano specialist and she had my favorite track on the FF4 project, it'd be awesome to get a song from her.

Patrick Burns was great on SMB, I'd like to hear more of his stuff.

Taucer's already on the project, but the more tracks by him, the better. Same with djp.

If you could somehow get McVaffe, that would be awesome. More realistically, I like Ziwtra's stuff pretty well and he did an FF8 remix not long ago.

Final Fantasy IX Remix project. That's cool.

I didn't even see this till five minutes ago and I'm insanely exicited. Good Luck guys.

Honestly pretty surprised no one wants to tackle Jesters of the Moon or Sleepless City Treno.

Yeah, it's good to keep a conversation going on in here to keep the page somewhat apparent for people passing by. As for those songs not being covered yet, don't worry. There's still time. :-P
