Wow, a meetup I could actually go to! List me as tenative, I can do the 13th-15th, though I may only do a two day deal so I can be back home by Sunday night. It's just a 4 hour drive for me, so barring other activities or a sudden pang of "must stay away from Las Vegas" I can probably make it. More details from me by the start of summer.

Did I see someone say this might end up being 21+ only? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

After all, I would certainly like to tag along and be a part of the fun and festivities. Its in the summer and not at all far away from where I am... and as a matter of fact, Stevo and I share the same birthday. :D

Also, I'd be turning 18 on August 19. :-P

Those who aren't 21, are still welcome to come and stay at our place. I at least ask 18 and up so none of us are responsible. Jordan and I don't do any adult activities so you can still hang with us if the crew wants to do something else out of our normal trend. lol I don't wanna bash away other folk. This is our meet-up after all for fun.

It's not that you COULDN'T tag along. You very well, could, but you really wouldn't have much fun. The majority (if not all) of the casinos have a 21 and over age limit, and we'd be walking through and playing at enough of them. You'd probably be bored just walking around all week and chilling in the hotel room or hanging out at Gameworks. It's essentially up to you, though, dude!

Oh, awesome! Does it count if I'm gonna be 18 very close to that? (Like, say, on Level99's birthday? And Cloud Strife's? (Even if he is overrated.))

I am extremely tentative at this point for Jadefest. If I'm still working the same job, the best I could do would be three days, maybe. The other issue would be money, considering I barely make enough to cover my regular bills, it'll be a big stretch.

Definitely count me out for Phoenix/Mexico. Not really interested in Rocky Point after being sick for 2 weeks after the first and last time I went there (no, I didn't drink the water), plus I seriously doubt being able to get the time off. It's all very tentative right now.

I like this idea, if you can keep the under 21 crowd with you, and if you all can fit in 1 car, that'll make the trip pretty smooth since you'll have transportation.

A note to some of those not interested in some of the potential activities like strip clubs - I'm sure there are enough of us around that we can be doing other things if certain things are disagreeable to them.

I'm a Christian, and a fairly religious one (same goes to Jade and Jordan that I know of at the least) so I'd probably be up for doing something else during some times - I will be gambling some I know, but I'm sure we can all find things agreeable to do and make thing work out, so don't let those types of concerns keep you away from a fun time!

I want to go to all of the Cirque du Soleil Shows :-( . Soooo exciting!

There's O, Zumanity, Ka, Love, and Viva Elvis!

Jordan and I have seen O, Ka, and Mystere (you forgot to list that one). Viva Elvis just opened recently. I'm a huge Cirque du Soleil fan. If we got money, we'd love to see Zumanity or Love.

Honestly, if I went to Vegas I'd want to see the mysterious non-strip part of the town where normal people live ;)

Don't worry, you'll see this. Jordan and I rarely go to the strip unless our friends want to go. Strip is really not a big deal to us. lol But we do live here after all..our opinions don't count. :D To me the strip is only kool if you got the money to dish out for some shows.

Yeah, it's fine. I just hope you don't get bored, is all. lol

And that's one issue actually. Jordan's car can only hold 2 people. I'd like to rent a car for us, but we're struggling with cash since I got laid off again.

Didn't see this until now. Sorry. So many posts - trying to keep up. haha

Whoever wants to do "adult events" can go do it. We can surely come up with something else, Bahamut. We'll browse together sometime in the near future and plan our days for fun stuff.

Car rental isn't that expensive is it? I'm sure it'd be possible to get people to chip in. Incidentally, my AMEX card gives me automatic auto insurance on rental cars, although I might have to be eligible to drive for me to help out in that way.

Nah, not really expensive. I think less then $40-50 a day. Free auto insurance would help a bunch! Also if people were to chip in...

I'm in there with Baha. 25, but no interest in strip clubs, or even gambling (I may do a few rounds of poker, but that'd be it). If I do show up, I'd have a mostly empty car with me, so you can abuse that. I'll probably be the only one coming from southern California.

So just so everyone knows the Cirque du Soleil options, here's all of the shows in Vegas: http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/lasvegas/en/home/index.asp?icid=dropdown/Las%20Vegas

Just so people are aware - it looks like there are group discounts available. We should plan the show itinerary ahead of time so we can get the best deals!
