I was referring to the SprayTracer plugin itself, not the Spray Trace function in the admin menu. Also, I thought that the event was scheduled for 20 minutes from now, but CaptainYahoo's not around... did I get the time wrong? Edit: I guess I did misread the time, it's now listed as 9:00pm. Top Gun Posted May 13, 2011 Share Posted May 13, 2011 So one thing I noticed while I was fooling around with the replay system is that there doesn't seem to be any way to string multiple takes happening at the same time together, to do something like show the same event from multiple viewpoints. I absolutely loathe quicktime. Have for years. They should've gone with something like theora in an AVI or OGG container. Well, this is for the QT codec which is needed by TF2 to encode movies, not for playing QT movies per se. As mentioned by XeroZohar, there are so many alternative codecs out there, I have no idea why they went with QT. Anyway, for those of you who participated in the Heavy Juggling events not too long ago... I have compiled the footage as I said I would. If you would like to see my work, or just see what happened if you weren't around for it... you can find it here: I have some other footage, such as my ghost riding during the Pac Man map and our other juggling game with the tons of Engineers and one Heavy/Medic pair per side. If there's interest, I can see about editing and uploading those as well. Unfortunately, if you live in Germany, you probably won't be able to see it due to the song choice I went with. I DO have a few videos I have entered for Saxxies, and there's one more I plan to try and enter after I finish editing it. Ones like that one, though, along with my "full version" of Fists of Shield... are really just for fun and the amusement of others. It seems like most Spy videos out there the enemy team is incapable of looking behind themselves as their team is wiped out single handedly by one spy. I don't really like turning RED into a permanent event type of thing. More along the lines of using it separately. I swore I linked to two videos I did when we first tried replays, back when they sporadically caused the server to lag. Anyway, here they are... the good parts of two consecutive lives: They aren't stellar (only 2 kills in one video and 4 in the other), but they don't suck either. Oh, and I killed both Frogg and his medic in each video. Now, if only replays existed during the times I've gotten 12 kills in one life before...
