this happens after prolonged exposure to the brewers

Hey Man. I never even liked baseball. My dad will always hope that one day, the brewers might actually win a world series. As for me, I hope the sport dies.

Watching tennis is more fun then watching baseball.

Meh I hate watching baseball as I think it's boring but I love playing baseball. Does that mean it's peculiar for me to hang out here too?

Yes.

I dropped the idea of an ocr fantasy baseball league in irc and it got support. I'm too lazy to research what's out there, but I have a tingling that there are enough interested folks here that we can put together a competent draft and season-long competition. So what if it's late in the game?

Idea is now forum-dropped.

dude did you WATCH the game on tuesday

6-1 marlins in the 7th and they walked NINE PEOPLE in the last 3 innings

walked in 2 runs one run driven in by a balk and one scored on a double play throwing error

i think the 5th was scored by a sac fly im pretty sure they scored all those runs without a legit hit

and guess what

they LOST in the tenth

^life of mets fan in a nutshell

i only saw highlights (if you could call them that). in other news, jose reyes is back and has his skipper as his personal escort so he doesn't get hurt anymore.

Tennis is a whiner's sport.

Anyway, I stopped caring about baseball when the Padres dumped Bruce Bochy. The Padres have tanked since then. I mean, they're worse than the fucking Rockies, WTF.

I lol'd at this quote. We've won over 90 games in 2 of the last three years including a World Series appearance....and many experts have picked us to win the NL West and even the World Series this year. Times have changed man, the Rox are LEGIT.

In case you need your memory jogged:

So far, a good ol' bad start for the beloved Cubbies.

One day, one day.

Actually, if any of you want to listen to a great folk song, this pretty much sums up what it's like to be a Cubs fan:

Do they still play the bluuuues in Chi-caaaagoooo

i hate to be the only one satisfied with their team's start but the A's have looked absolutely fucking stellar smacking our division mates around the way we have. dominant pitching, surprising bats (not just winning games, smashing 15 hits a game with it) and running a quick 6-2 start to the AL west

WUT WUT GO A's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What.

I've always felt like tennis is the most grueling sport mentally & is certainly physically - then again I've played it for almost 22 years.

mets are going into the top of the 20th now

imo fire manuel hes made so many IDIOTIC decisions this game and all season seriously holy crap

i knew i'd find somethin from you today concerning the game but this isn't what i expected lol

although, you've got a point; they squeaked out the win (reyes really did go 0-for-7 with the GW sac hahaha) despite some pretty whacky play. if it isn't manuel that's gotta go then it's shitface minaya

-------

and not that anyone really cares but GO A'S!!! 9-4 and still rollin!

hey the mets are actually playing well im enjoying this run although ive got my doubts about it lasting

anyways if youve got a ps3 they added mlb.tv (for subscribers) to it!!!!!

they sure did add it! :)

also, yeah, mets were gettin it on at the end of april... may hasn't been so kind to them but give the giants the business and you're right back at the top. my a's are playing as well as your mets are right now... hopefully we can get our injured guys back and stretch things out a bit in the al west.

this has been a fun season so far. all sorts of crazy shit goin on

and is this heyward kid for real? wow... if it weren't for the fact that he's on the braves, i'd be ordering a fathead of him right now

Atmuh dude, forgive me, I must have been withdrawal tripping. Seriously, very seriously.

Anyway, I can recall being at a Tigers vs Yankees game in 2006. God times, and the Yankees won too. I just had to be loyal to the Tigers at the time because they represent my state.

congrats to dallas braden and the as

19th perfect game in history

:D

!!!!!

in front of his grandma who raised him after his mom died... at home on mother's day... and against the best team in baseball, no less!

way to make athletics nation proud, dallas!

I've been going to Pirates games ever since I was a kid, but today was the first time my family left the stadium early. 11-4 against the Cardinals...just sad.

dude, that's actually kinda surprising....

The Dallas Braden story may be the best of the year, we'll just have to see! Either way, can't help but feel great for him and his family, no matter what he does for the rest of his career he's made it onto a list only 18 other names are on.

As for my Blue Jays, they aren't sunk.... yet, so that's always fun  .
