A lot of this stuff was done as a request of a friend, or for a game being developed by the Gang Garrison community (the "Blank" songs, especially)

How are they?

(2 hours later: c'mon, anyone? Anyone?)

Listened to the one you posted as your fav. Pretty interesting.

Is it for a game, of a game track, or just Blank 'cause you can't think of a name just yet?

Also listening to your Ultimate Final Boss Music (does the title really have to be yelling at me?). Also interesting. The galloping bass works well for a boss theme.

They seem very short and very... I dunno... basic. Mostly just short. But that may be what you are wanting to go for, which is fine. I just kinda think you could expand on these more. Work in more variations, a solo or two; that kinda thing.

But like I said, you may be going for the short, loopable track like one in a video game, in which case, you've done a pretty good job.

EDIT: Also, you may want to exercise some patience when posting here, esspecially in the WIP:Other section. Believe you me, it can sometimes take a while to get responses. Had a post that went 10 days (and a title change, lol) before getting a reply. Maybe changing to a more descriptive title will draw more attention to your music.

Ugh, I HATE patience.

Heh, I hear ya. Not a big fan of it myself, lol.

Anyhow, yeah they're all loopable game things. Blank is indeed the name of a game (sadly discontinued). As for basic, if you are referring to the quality of the tones and pitches and whatnot, I agree. If you are referring to the actual notes, I disagree.

Upon further listening I would say, yeah, basic as in the tones, pitches, n' whatnot. But that is the style. My ears have just been spoiled by non-chiptune style music, lol. And since it is designed with games in mind, it needs to be basic but memorable. I think you've accomplished that.

I guess my comments would be more for if you were going for a non-looping song... erm... like, say, Norrin Radd style chip-tune songs...
