Working with two sequencers

if you're collaborating with someone who uses a different sequencer, is there a way to overcome that barrier? Can you import/export each other's material to work with it that way, and if so, in what format? Thanks ahead of time

Audio and midi are the only ones I can think of. Just about any sequencer should be able to import midi. You won't get the same sound, but you can take turns editing the arrangement. When it's time to mix, you can export the tracks you want to sound exactly like they do in sequencer x and import them into sequencer y.

With trackers it might be easier, depends on what formats they use and how many program-specific functions are being used.

IIRC some DAW's are compatible with some sort of universal project file, don't recall what it is. It would obviously lose some of the specifics, but you may be able to get the majority of it. Audio renders and Midi are probably your best bet. May may also look into "ReWire" for linking the other sequencer into yours.
