Vincent, a 32 year old (GASP?!) salaryman lacking ambition, is charmed by Catherine, a 22 year old mysterious beauty. At night, Vincent is plagued by nightmares where he climbs a never ending staircase. He can wake up if he reaches the top, but it appears there is a connection between the dream world and the real world. There’s a rumor that if you fall in the dream you die in real life. The same page shows a screenshot with a newscaster reporting on the death of a young man. This screenshot has English text that with Japanese subtitles on top. In an interview with Famitsu, character artist Shigenori Soejima says the game raw terror and some scenes are intended to startle adults. (What..? So any one under 18 or perhaps even 16 wouldn't understand it enough to be bothered..?) Yeah I can see myself most likely getting it... I guess that would explain the flock of sheep I'm always seeing, HEY-O! Yeah, but the picture of that sheep and its red, glowing eyes will make me have nightmares for the rest of my life... So this game is basically Paprika mixed with Inception mixed with sexy fun times... and sheep? This actually looks really really interesting. Some of the information I've been reading on it seems like a pretty compelling, unique experience (particularly the startling, terrifying moments). Hell most of our PG-13 movies and some PG are rated IIa or IIb in Hong kong, which also covers our R's and some NC-17s. Hell the freddy movies, Saw and other super violent movies are rated III in hong kong which puts them in the same rating as hardcore porn.
