My attendance is contingent on two things--Having a means of getting there, and having someone to room with. I would add a third condition of having people to hang out with but the first two are far more important. I expect to be in Carroll County, MD within the next 10-15 days so if Mount Airy is on anyone's path to Alexandria I'd appreciate some assistance.

So for now I'm still a "maybe".

GOING! The plan so far is to room with Dyne and others.

Before we continue,

the word from bgc and Brendan is to

decide very quickly if you're going, and then

GET PRE-REGISTERED ASAP!!,

because it's likely they're going to fill to

capacity again, and anyone still putting off

might miss out. Don't be one of those people.

I'm working on editing M8 video:

Also since the old thread got axed here it is again: We don't have any good cameras this year, and I would like to borrow a few if anyone has any they don't mind lending out for a few hours. We especially need panel coverage so if you just want to operate your own camera in a panel room all day that's fine too, just drop by and give us a copy. Any equipment we borrow I'll take personal responsibility for and probably buy you a pizza or something too.

Well then.

At this point I can promise to be there Friday night through Sunday. Thursday's still a bit iffy.

Thursday is when the fun kicks off!

Also a word of advice for some of you - you'll probably want to get some people's phone numbers if you haven't met any of us before so you're not completely clueless at first, and so the fun can start asap.

I'm still looking for a floor on which to sleep. I'd prefer to room with people I have met in person before, or short of that, someone I "know" on IRC. Anyone with extra room, let me know -- it's just me this year, Addie has a conference in CA that week.

If you need one, I'm pretty sure I have at least one slot left.

I've got

Me, My cousin, Epicenter, BrianSpackle and YOU!

Maybe one other person, but if he doesn't pre-reg soon he may be SOL.
