UMD's Gamer Symphony Orchestra Fall Concert!

Recommended Posts

Yes, the GSO will soon be holding its fifth annual fall concert! For those of you who have not heard of us, we are a student-run ensemble of 120 members (including a 40 member chorus) based at the University of Maryland, College Park, that plays exclusively video game music. All of our music is arranged in-house; in fact, a couple of our arrangements -- "Still Alive" from Portal and "Hyrulian Highlands" from the Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker -- are available on OCRemix.

If you're fortunate enough to be located in the D.C. area, the concert will be held on December 11th at 2 p.m. (doors open at 1:30 p.m.) in the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center on campus. As always, admission is FREE and everyone is welcome to attend. If you're not fortunate enough to be located in the D.C. area, find a friend with a car. Or a chocobo.

If you want more information about us or want to hear recordings from previous performances, please visit our website at http://umd.gamersymphony.org. You can also follow us on Twitter or RSVP to the concert on Facebook to show the world how awesome you are.

Thanks, guys!
