Those 702 users? All my one computer. It got mad at me and did that.

(no really, I have no idea why 702 users were online then. My best guess would be that a specific exploit in the forums software was uncovered and any sites using that had an onslaught of spambots registering. ocremix is a site which deals a lot of traffic and gets a lot of hits, so 600+ spambots and then whomever normal users in addition to that would be an appropriate assumption)
