UMD Gamer Symphony Orchestra Spring Concert Preview!

Recommended Posts

The University of Maryland’s Gamer Symphony Orchestra, the country’s premiere collegiate ensemble dedicated to playing video game music, will preview its fifth anniversary concert with a performance on April 3. This sneak-peek will be held in the Dekelboum Concert Hall at the university’s Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. The full spring concert will be in Dekelboum at 3 p.m. on May 7. Both performances are free and family friendly.

The preview is being made possible by a gracious partnership with the UM Wind Ensemble. The Wind Ensemble will welcome GSO to the stage at the conclusion of their 3 p.m. performance of works by Persichetti, Schuman, Bernstein and others.

For more information and links to video and audio recordings, please contact GSO President Rob Garner or visit GSO’s website: http://umd.gamersymphony.org/. For more information on the UM Wind Ensemble performance, please visit: http://t.co/oN8g3Ee.

We hope to see you there!
