It's got a pretty awesome lineup of composers through Creative Intelligence Arts (that I, in no way, shape, or form, had any hand in ;-)) If you caught me Easter egg'ed in Kotaku's Booth Babes of Tokyo Game Show piece, that's because I was promoting this upcoming soundtrack. :lol:

For you OCR folks, the soundtrack's got both Andy and Jill on there with some epic music, and it's got friends of OCR Hiroki Kikuta, Hiroaki Yura and 18-year-old (way too good at muzak) Tomoki Miyoshi in there, live performance from the Eminence Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Choir, and tons of other awesome composers.

Hit the pre-order page to lock in for the album now. PayPal will automatically handle the conversion to Yen, so if you have the dollas to pop for an international soundtrack, definitely get it! The deluxe package is going to be pretty sweet!

Creative Intelligence Arts to Release Original Soundtrack for Namco Bandai's SOULCALIBUR® V

Over 2 Epic Hours of Battle Themes and Cinematic Cues in a Deluxe Package

TOKYO... Global music production company Creative Intelligence Arts, Inc. (CIA) announced today that it will release the original soundtrack to Namco Bandai's SOULCALIBUR® V video game on January 31, 2012, the same day as the game's release for the PlayStation® 3 and Xbox 360® consoles. The SOULCALIBUR® V Original Soundtrack will be comprised of 56 tracks featuring over 2 hours of battle themes and cinematic cues recorded at Sydney, Australia's Trackdown Scoring Stage. (Pre-orders can be made at http://eminenceonline.com/store/soulcaliburv.html.)

The SOULCALIBUR® V Original Soundtrack, which will also be available digitally from iTunes, features 3 incredible discs taking you on a musical journey through the latest installment of the legendary fighting game franchise. This premium collector's edition, packaged in a double digipak with hardcover case, also includes 20 pages of liner notes, an exclusive "Behind the Scenes" DVD delving into CIA's creative process for the score, as well a special set of character cards spotlighting several of the newest combatants of the SOULCALIBUR® universe.

The production of this epic soundtrack was led by CIA founder Mr. Hiroaki Yura, who also shaped SOULCALIBUR® V's audio direction as the game's music supervisor. An extraordinary international collaboration of award-winning music talent from five countries contributed to the score of the long-anticipated Namco Bandai fighting game, including:

• A composition team of Namco Bandai audio director Junichi Nakatsuru (SOULCALIBUR® series, ACE COMBAT® series); legendary game composer Hiroki Kikuta (Seiken Densetsu2 & 3, Shining Hearts™); one of the youngest game composers in the industry, 18-year-old prodigy Tomoki Miyoshi (Berklee School of Music, Koyo Conservatory); extremely versatile composer and virtual instrument designer Andrew Aversa (Super Street Fighter IITurbo HD Remix, Monkey Island2: Special Edition); award-winning veteran composers Cris Velasco (God of War™ trilogy, Borderlands™, Darksiders™) and Inon Zur (Prince of Persia™, Fallout3, Dragon Age™ series);

• A performance cast of Australia's Eminence Symphony Orchestra (SOULCALIBUR® IV, DiabloIII), a team whose passion stands apart from all others as the only professional orchestra in the world that focuses on recording and performing anime and video game soundtracks; the beautiful vocals of the Eminence Symphonic Choir (El Shaddai™); Eminence Artists including CIA founder Mr. Hiroaki Yura, Jem Harding, Zane Banks, and Huw Jones; classically-trained soprano sensation Jillian Aversa (Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, God of War: Ghost of Sparta); and

• A recording team of 3-time Grammy Award winner John Kurlander (audio engineer for The Beatles, music recording engineer for The Lord of the Rings™ trilogy); and Australia's premiere purpose-built orchestral scoring studio Trackdown Scoring Stage (Happy Feet2, Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World).

"Game companies like Namco Bandai come to CIA for talent because they want to pull out all the stops to meet the high expectations of their fans," said CIA founder Mr. Hiroaki Yura. "CIA was committed to a truly global approach in crafting SOULCALIBUR® V's soundtrack. Through our global collaboration, we're excited to create a product worthy of the Soul™ series franchise that will take the SOULCALIBUR® experience to unprecedented heights."

SOULCALIBUR® V is the newest chapter in the hugely successful fighting game series developed by Project Soul™ and published by Namco Bandai Games. SOULCALIBUR® V picks up 17 years after the events of SOULCALIBUR® IV with new heroes and returning warriors clashing in an epic showdown between good and evil. The tale of Patroklos, son of Sophitia Alexandra, unfolds as his family’s destiny intertwines with the Soul swords. The SOUL series' previous core chapter, SOULCALIBUR® IV, sold more than two million units since its release in 2009 and included music performed by CIA artists the Eminence Symphony Orchestra.

From an article I just read RIGHT THIS MOMENT!

There are some big names working on the title including Hiroki Kikuta (Secret of Mana, countless eroge titles), Cris Velasco (God of War, Darksiders), Inon Zur (Dragon Age, Crysis), and Andrew "zircon" Aversa of OverClocked ReMix fame along with franchise veteran Junichi Nakatsuru who's acting as audio director

Nice work. I trust this is new and not something you told us a while ago, but I didn't hear it then.
