The mix seems a little empty to me until 0:44 with the intro flute being a little weak. The somewhat randomized synth that comes in deters from the main focal point of the song and makes for non-smooth listening experience. Also, I don't think the song varies enough from the main melody of the original for a remix, as it seems to follow the whole song pretty closely. A little more variation in the main melody and a bit more focus on the mixing and you could have yourself a pretty good remix.

Actually, KM I purposefully didn't alter the main melody. Because it's perfect. Now during the bridge, I added a counter melody in the flute, but I guess you didn't hear that. Ask for "more focus on the mixing" I'm going to need you to elaborate a little. I used several techniques to get the song the way I wanted, such as automating the volume level, apply parametric eq effects, compression, and multiple filters. So, I'm not sure what you mean dude.

Well, I think for the majority of the song that the instruments aren't occupying as much space as they could be in the mix, making it sound a little empty instead of expansive. That's what I think the sound you're going for is, right?

Wow, I actually like the glitchy-gated flute in the beginning, there. Kind of unexpected, yet awesome.

I've got to say, this is actually pretty sweet, overall, for what it is. I want to hear someone bring in some serious hip hop vocals over this track, as it just sounds like it's missing from the track, as of yet.

Unfortunately, there's a little lack of direction, at the moment. You keep playing variations of the same section over and over, with little pattern (save for the repetitive source) to keep it cohesive. It's... funny, in that it's both too repetitive and too varied all at once. Use a bit more of the source, and try to make your texture changes a bit more consistent.

I really like this, though. Nice work.
