I've got a 1 year old Sony Walkman

B002IPHA1W-2.jpg

Yesterday, the thing started shocking my ears about every minute or so. Now when I turn it on, it goes to the startup screen for about 30 seconds, and then turns off. Now it isn't working anymore. When I plug it into my computer, my computer recognizes that it is there, but will not be able to connect with it.

EDIT: Just unplugged it from my computer and it doesn't respond at all.

Not sure what you're looking for here as a response.....

iPod Nanos are pretty affordable?

Additionally: That thing is dead. Stop plugging it into stuff before it breaks other things. Open it up and see what kind of drive it has in it if you REALLY need the data. It MIGHT be recoverable but...from the sounds of it you may have killed the drive as well.

I have this: 41PC1Vq6dSL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

The sansa clip 8GBs

On amazon you can find the 2GB version for 20 pounds (maybe abit more dollers wise)

This thing has been dropped multiple times over the 3 or so years ive had it and it seems to be built to last.

besides as Ramaniscence said your old one is dead.
