For those who don't know, Moebius was highly influential comic book artist in the euro-comic scene and later, worldwide thanks to his work on western comics and movies such as Alien and Tron. His work appeared in a few video games, namely Panzer Dragoon (which was inspired by one of his comics), and three arcade machines and a bar in the Metreon in San Francisco were based on his work.

To say that I'm sad he's gone is an understatement.

This is a real shame, i hadn't seen much of his artwork but i had seen reminded me of Salvador Dali's style of quirkiness to bring the lifeless to life.

Jean seemed to have relentless untapped imagination.

As an amateur art lover that i am i can't bring justice to his work or his skills as an artist.

But at age 75 he must of surely had a for filled and happy life.

The artist may have passed on but his work will live on forever.

R.I.P Jean "moebius" Giraud
