Because of connection issues, the date for NA and EU is currently set to TBD and the JP version was pulled. So yeah. Level 99 Posted December 27, 2013 Share Posted December 27, 2013 The Friend Safari is an endgame thing. After you beat the bad guys and the elite four and become champion blah blah blah you get a ticket to ride the train to Kiloude City. In there, you get access to little zones based on your 3DS friends who have Pokemon X or Y. Its basically to help you fill out your pokedex as there's a bunch that can show up that aren't in the regular game and for IV breeding since every pokemon you catch there has at least 2 perfect IVs. So, Amphibious, you're a bit of a ways away BUT that doesn't stop other people from getting into your Friend Safari before you beat the game. I didn't really look much up before I played to keep it all super fresh, so I didn't really realize that before the 2nd gym you can already catch like a billion different Pokemon.
