The source was Mega Man 7's Burst Man. At the end, piano man entered the burst man level and beated the boss since both DrumJ8 and FreakyT won the contest with a piano song. This meeans two sources for this round. Hey, I'll go with a song from everyone's favorite not-quite-Sonic game on everyone's least favorite platform, the 32X: Knuckles' Chaotix! I've never heard any mixes of one of my favorite tracks, "Speed of Sound", so that's my pick: http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/sega/32x/Speed_of_sound.mid I had no idea what track to pick, so I searched and searched and hopefully got a good one. I've played this game but I don't remember this track , it sounded good to me. Two sources this time because last round had two winners. As usual, you only have to remix one of these songs, but remixing both in one song is encouraged. DrumJ8 can take part by remixing FreakyT's source and FreakyT can take part in the contest by remixing DrumJ8's source. If anyone has problems with uploading songs to ThaSauce let me know (in this thread) and post a download link to your song in this thread (so I can upload it to ThaSauce). Entries must be posted in the ThaSauce link by MONDAY February 18th 2013 at 10:59 am ThaSauce time: check my signature (below) or the ThaSauce page for the exact time left. You may enter as many mixes as you like and work with as many people as you like on each mix. You are free to create a second ThaSauce account for that, it's needed to be able to upload a second remix. You can post it in the thread if that doesn't work. Do not make qualitative comments on an entry until the results of the vote have been posted. This isn't saying that I'd be taking part in this one though, but as the host of SEGA Mixer Drive over on RadioSEGA, I am inclined to look into a selection of hot new releases each week. If someone does something killer enough out of Speed Slider, I'll be happy to play it on the show following the competition's ending. Make it a good one, all! Probably you get a first place for both songs and fill in first and second place only (resulting in that 3 songs get 3 points and 1 song only 2), but I'm not sure about it yet since it gives you an high advantage. To vote, do the following: - Visit the stated ThaSauce Page and listen to all the entries - Scroll to the form at the bottom of the screen. - Fill in the rank of the entries from first to third. - State a reasoning for it. - Participants are encouraged to vote. They cannot vote for themselve, but they get a free first place bonus if they vote. Also non participants are encouraged to vote and leave comments. Last round winner, FreakyT has a vote that counts twice. DrumJ8 has not a double vote since he entered the contest. Sggod89/TrollingOrSerious are allowed to vote once. Then both songs get an additional first place, he only needs to fill in the first two boxes (resulting in 3 songs getting 3 points and 1 song getting 2 points).
