I won't completely lose hope until you guys try and incorporate Smash Bros into the timeline.

We mustn't forget the cd-i games. Just forget about a stupid time line.

All of those are non-canon.

As far as Nintendo goes, they're trying to forget the show.

As far as Nintendo goes, they're trying to forget the show.

But its a classic. It made children everywhere smile and fanboys cringe. It had a ninja riding pegasus for godsake!

Zelda 2 Link also had an upward thrust (shown in one of his aerial attacks in Melee), he could turn himself into a fairy (no joke) to fly and pass through small corridors (think Alucard's bat transformation from SotN or DoS), cast a spell on himself to jump higher than normal, shoot fireballs, and... that should be it, I think.

EDIT: Wait, I know there's more than that. I just can't think straight right now.

Personally I'd like to see Link use a couple of his own magic attacks every once in a while. Something less generic than Din's Fire.
