Silverpool64 Posted September 12, 2019 Share Posted September 12, 2019 I have an audio-technica ATR2100-USB microphone that I'm using to record YouTube videos, but my input gain is around the -24db range. Coupled with my quiet voice and noisy computer, this makes it really hard to edit my audio. I think I need a preamp, but I'm not sure what to look for or if it's what I really need. Does anyone have a preamp they'd recommend or a way to make your computer less noisy? Would getting a different microphone be a better option?
