Also, make sure your synths have the attack to come in at the right time. At 1:41, that choir sound is a little late on everything, and the notes aren't long enough to get any good sound out of it. Low-qual sounds all around, and some of the creepy ambience that you're trying to build up makes it sound muddy throughout. You have a wide variety of generic synths.
