In a good relationship, there shouldn't be much that you have to *totally* give up for the other person. Kids, on the other hand, demand a lot more sacrifices. Getting married isn't the end of life as you know it. Or so I'm told. It's the beginning of something new and special. Also, all of your future wife's friends will probably want to go out for a "girls night" occassionally. On those occassions...the kids can go to the 'rent's place!
