Now, I know it is done, can be done, and hopefully will be done, but how?

Poking around I realized I have no idea what I am getting myself into.

Basically, I am looking for a cart for the GBA SP that I can use to play video/music.

I've found things like this:

http://www.jandaman.com/games.mvc?p=gbaefa256&Category_code=GBADEVKIT

http://www.gameboy-advance.net/flash_linker/gba_xg-flash.htm

http://www.emu-zone.net/gba-sp/ez-flash.htm

But I'm not sure.

Anyone have anything like this, or can offer some words of advice?

I bought a SuperCard SD, and if you don't mind a bit of the card sticking out the bottom, it's great. You can pay a bit more for the Mini SD version if you want. I put some movies on it and they were perfectly watchable, and mp3s play fine too. SuperCard Store is the best place to get em, too.

I've got one of these things. It's basically a compact flash reader for GBA. The video conversion software is a little clumsy at times, and the quality leaves a bit to be desired, but it's not that bad. Plus, using a few modified emulators, you can play pretty much any NES, GBC, or SMS/GG game on it. Now, you could do all of that with nearly any other flash card, but to my knowledge, the GBAMP is MUCH cheaper.

There's also the Supercard (and variants) and M3 adapters which are probably easier to find, and serve the same purpose, but I have no experience with any of them.

If you still want to look into other products, check out the boards at pocketheaven. The guys there are fairly knowledgeable when it comes to those products.

I'd get the M3 Perfect. It's just as good as the GBA Movie Player, and you can use it with a DS as well (I use Moonshell for my DS video needs). It also has great GBA, NDS and homebrew support.

Link me???????????????????????

Well, the site I ordered mine from doesn't have the SD version in at the moment(It seems to have been discontinued), but it does have the miniSD one: http://www.divineo.com/cgi-bin/div-us/dd-ds-m3minia.html-same thing, different media. Whatever you do, don't buy the Pro version, go for the Perfect.

Here's the official site: http://www.m3adapter.com/SLOT-1/main.htm

Here's a few other places you can ask for more information should you need it:
