Okay guys, at this point, it's getting crowded on the male singers side. We have more than enough now, so I think that before I put any more male singers on the list, I'm going to need a sample of work. I gotta be critical, though, so don't feel bad if I reject you. I really just DO NOT WANT too many cooks in the kitchen. If you're on the list now, fine. but otherwise, you're gonna have to show me something special.

I got a couple of my previous works lying around. Let me know if you want to listen to something new from me, more like an "audition" of some sort.

From the Dwelling of Duels competition. Obviously, LuIzA did the track while I contributed to some of the singing parts. From 3:18 to 4:06 my voice is mixed with other vocal guests. From 4:12 to 5:20 are my solo parts.

Here are all the other stuff I did. It descends from recent to oldest. I'm not sure about the performance, but the recent two tracks in the list (Believe in Myself and Town Life) have the best recoding quality. I suggest you listen to the first four. The 2nd page has my old work which really sucks.

ok so we have a tracklist to represent the sections of the overall project and here's what we've come up with

STORY SECTION: GAME AND SONG TITLE: LINK TO ORIGINAL SONG

Intro - Kirby Super Star - Mt. Dedede http://hemophiliac.googlepages.com/11Mt.Dedede.spc

Journey to Paradise - Donkey Kong Country 2 - Hot Head Bop http://hemophiliac.googlepages.com/dkc2lava.spc

The Temptress - Chrono Cross - Ancient Dragon's Fort http://hemophiliac.googlepages.com/ChronoCross124AncientDragonsFort.psf

Rejection and Defeat - Ninja Gaiden - Ken Hayabusa's Sword http://hemophiliac.googlepages.com/NG1-Intro2-KenHayabusasSword.spc

The Wise Man - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Kaepora Gaebora http://hemophiliac.googlepages.com/LoZ-OoT_20_Kepora_Geboras_Theme.miniusf

Battle vs. The Council - Castlevania 4 - Theme of Simon http://hemophiliac.googlepages.com/01.SPC

Victory! - Waverace 64 - Main Title http://hemophiliac.googlepages.com/01-MainTitle.miniusf

from here what we need are some people to pick up the tracks to arrange and some people to work on lyrics with them to create-win. remember that the story will be reflected in the lyrics and will tell the story throughout the course of the tracks.

oops sorry, forgot to put the links to the original songs before :/

I've always been interested in arranging the Kaepora Gaebora song, but I'll be a little strapped for time for a bit, so if I can get my recordings to sound up to par I think a collaboration would be better. But if anyone is interested in doing that one and wants to bounce around some ideas on it with me, let me know.

I can play your trombone parts. I mostly play bass, but I could do tenor parts of long as they aren't too high. Good general range for me is from F1 to F4, but I can go as high as Bb4 or as low as Ab0 (I could never play a line that low, but long notes would work).

Other shit you probably don't need, but might come in handy:

Tuba

Basic bass guitar

BassBaritone voice, sometimes tenor

And two years of lurking comes to an end. Hello, Overclocked world. My first post would have been in an intro thread somewhere, but it's 11:24, I have no tea, and I felt a primal urge to jump on this opportunity.

This project seems poised to become epic, especially since some of OCR's finest are involved. I wish to contribute a six-string bass and as much time as I can spare. Day-to-day survival and earning a living will, of course, be lowered on the priority list.

I think I am going to need to remove aforementioned offers of my meager talents. The excitement of the moment wore off enough for me to realize: there is no way I'd have enough time for something like this in the coming months.

Looks like you've got all the bases covered, though. Good luck, and I'll be waiting to hear any progress!

son, how did this get started WITHOUT me being able to notice?!

saxophone, vocals (rock or otherwise), and bass. if you need anything else (i can find my way around a few other wind instruments, and i've got a melodica, pennywhistle, and a recorder also) please contact me. and i could probably do some arrangement too if you really wanted it.

i LOVE rock operas.

edit. something i failed to mention is the simple fact that i can probably sing everything you need (i'm a guy). just wanted to throw that out there - i'll send you a sample if you want.

I haven't posted in a while, but this seems rather intriguing. It also seemed to have racked up quite a bit of attention quickly. Cool.

I don't know how much in the way of other instrumentation you need, but I'm a trumpet player, and I can also volunteer several other... I suppose odd instruments into the mix. I figure you have enough guitar, piano, etc. but I can contribute ukulele and melodica if you really need it (I imagine you'd need the melodica before the ukulele, but you never know until you try it.)

I'd offer to help arrange, or something of the sort, but I can't give enough time for that, but I can easily record whatever parts you need (I attend a college with three recording studios, in addition to my own setup).

Okay, guys. Now comes the fun part. Let's start arranging. Anyone who wants to take part in arranging any song should post in the appropriate thread in the forums. I'm gonna make threads for each song, so we can end up having teams working on songs at the same time. Let's share ideas on the forums instead of Skype, this time. Here we go, guys. Let's create something special.
