DKC2 could always use some more mixes, I've been listening to its soundtrack a lot just these last few days. Now, this feels a little loud, I think. Personally, I'd have preferred that synth piano that comes in at 1:15 to be the real thing. I also only barely feel the original song in here, and I would have a liked there to, at some point, be a more obvious cover of the original song. The best mixes, I think, are those that tease you for a few minutes by almost covering the main theme and then actually do... that climax is missing here, I think. Comparing this to your other stuff, though, this seems to be in an early stage, and I'm sure I'll like this a lot more when it's finished. So... keep it up!
