  1. It says at the top I have an unread message, yet when it ry to read them nothing shows up. Any thoughts?
  2. No takers? I reckon you could do something interesting with it...
  3. Okay, awesome first attempt. Take what i say with a pinch of your finest salt, these are just my personal thoughts from a non-musician POV: I like the intro, although I think you should cut it down and 'get to the point' a bit quicker. We're talking like 10-15 secs here. I like the first section (1-1 theme). You keep the theme going nicely, and mix it up to keep variety without being jarring. Nice lead into the underworld theme. This'll be a personal thing but I think you should definitely keep the first underworld theme bit you did going longer. You could build something up nicely. I love the original theme myself and what you started with was awesome, but you cut it a bit early. You then have a kind of break and then back to underworld. I think with this whole section it sounds a little bit jarring, like you've thrown maybe one or two themes too many into the same space. Personally I'd extend that original underworld bit into here, but don't forget to mix it up just a little so it doesn't sound too repetitive. The ending isn't how I'd personally have it, but that'll again be a personal thing. from a general point of view it ends quite nicely, so if you like the sound I'd keep it as is. There you are mate . Nice job, you've made an awesome start there and I think with a few more comments and some tinkering you've got a great mix on your hands. Definitely one I'm keeping my eye on.
  4. God yes, this is amazing! I'll give you my proper thoughts tomorrow, but this is awesome work.
  5. Kirby Super Star has some awesome music, I love the ending theme to Milky Way Wishes.
  6. I love this song, one of my favourite OCRemixes, and a song I regularly play amongst my normal music. Heh it doesn't look like this song's short on reviews but I'll give my thoughts: Nice start with the barking dog and violin, sets the atmosphere well. The way the violin fades into the intro is brilliant. Now I'm a big fan of dance music, even more so when it's mixed with classical/orchestral pieces, so I love the kick. Absolutely no complaints from me. Nice bass and the fast playing violin makes for a great intro. One personal niggle for me that can make or break a song is the way the notes and/or chords progress. If it feels 'wrong' to me, it can ruin a song. Fortunately you got it spot on, with the way the violins climb and then the trumpets(?) join in, it works brilliantly and one of the best parts of the song. Now this'll be a personal thing, but I'm not really fan of the piano solo in the middle. Any other song would suit it, and I love piano solos any other time (I'm a big fan of Ludovico Einaudi - check it out kids), but it just seems to ruin the pace of the song. However, I do like the way it climbs back into the faster speed and 'normal' part of the song. Nice ending, no complaints here. Overall it's an excellent song, like I said I'm a big fan of dance and classical/orchestral pieces, and when the two are mixed you something really special (Barber's Adagio: greatest song ever). I took an instant liking to this song and make a point to show it people when I can. Brilliant work, I eagerly await your next efforts.
  7. The name Reuben Kee rang a bell and sure enough I'd downloaded a couple of his songs, not only that but were on my playlist of favourite songs. It's a damn shame, but at least I can say hand on heart I enjoyed his music.'Ryu for Four Pianos' is excellent and I'm giving it a play in your honour Rest in peace mate
  8. Throw in The allegros from 2 and 3 and all will be right with the galaxy
  9. Examination - Allegro needs to be remixed to make everything right with the world again.
  10. My first post and it's straight down to business . If someone would be so kind, could they do a remix of K. Gibson's theme from Heavyweight Champ, on the Master System. The song I'm after starts at 1:42 in that video. You know that guy in Little Britain who asks for something REALLY specific, well that's me:. You see I have an idea for a remix in mind, but no technical knowledge. Anyway, here's my thoughts : You know the music that keeps looping and plays really fast (kind of like the 'backing' music)? Well I imagine a three bell hit leading straight into that for an intro. The song would then kick in with the tune you hear that goes all over the place (the main song). Also for a chorus I can imagine a kind of 'American Hero' kind of theme, a kind of Rocky-ish one. As for genre I'm not sure, I love my Hardcore dance/techno, but I guess whatever genre the game tune is (I can't quite figure it) would be fine . A massive thankyou in advance to whoever undertakes this .
