  1. This has been one of my favorite remixes on this site for a long time. The use of brass instruments is an interesting choice but they fit perfectly and add a feeling of power to the mix. The instrumentation fits the frenzied (and hot) feel of Heat Man's music perfectly. It builds slowly into a great mix. Well done.
  2. Is there anyway to get an instrumental only version of this piece? The music was great, and could be awesome. Not a fan of the lyrics. Kinda ruined it for me.
  3. Doesn't have a lot of energy to it but it doesn't necessarily need it. This is an excellent remix as far as I'm concerned. It's ambient, soothing, and could easily be listened to over and over again. Definitely a great take on the source (which I can easily hear throughout the whole piece, despite what others say.) Great stuff.
  4. That problem being, it is just not long enough. Seriously, after 5 and a half minutes, and am never ready for this song to be over. I usually play it about 3 times through before I move on to the next song and find myself running the tune through my head when I'm off doing something else. Absolutely excellent.
  5. This is one of the best songs from Mega Man 4, and definitely one of the most fun songs from the NES. I loved it when I first heard it, and whenever I go back and play it again, I get all excited. (I know, I'm a sucker for the classics). I thought this was a good remix, but I was so anxiously waiting for this song to really take off. It really felt like it was leading up to it, and it desperately needed to just kick up a few notches and really get the beat going. Instead, it faded out, and that was that. Like I said, it was really good. But it needed something more. Maybe someone could remix this song again and give it the powerhouse version it really needs. Don't get me wrong, I'd recommend this song.
  6. I'm not sure if this one has been mentioned before, but Blaster Master, level 5. That stupid crab that shot bubbles. I had infinite lives with Game Genie, and every so often, my brother and I would give that game another shot, and we'd spend hours on that crab and never pass him.
  7. This is one of the better remixes I've heard in a long time. I downloaded it a couple days ago and have listened to it probably 10 - 20 times. I'm not sure why people say the intro is too long, I like it like that. It slowly works itself into the song and almost makes you forget that it's playing. Then before you know it, it jumps seamlessly into the heart of the song. Excellently done. On another note, right around 3:35 is my favorite part of the song. It's that deep atmospheric music that moves you. I love it.
