  1. I love it, this song just blows me away. Zelda is sweet, and this song just picks it up to a new level. The way the song ends is sheer brilliance as well. I give it a 9.5/10
  2. Sweet mother of god, my ears. I mean, the song itself is okay, but I listen to music really loudly, and the fuzz of the guitar and the pierce of the cellphone are far to intense. Clean up the guitar a bit, and lower the volume of the cellphoen track, and you got a decent mix... right now, it's window shattering.
  3. I don't agree fully with some of the other comments here--no, it's not my favorite remix on the site, but it is decent. Definatly deserving of at least 5/10. However, you can't listen to it in excess, and compared to the other MWAMG remix on here, this one pales. It's good to see the right idea though... a little more bass and focus and this could come together a lot more nicely.
  4. The song is great, but the 'huh's and 'what's get to be far too much very quickly. The scat/rap parts thrown in add a nice touch, and the song itself is great. Just watch out for repetition, like in the huh/what aspect of the song. I give it an 8 out of 10, which would have been 8.5 if not for the huh/what part.
  5. Ryan, I love it. I'm a huge Crystalis fan, and this song just swept me up in memories of the game. You really hit home with this one, so keep up the good work, and bring us some more Crystalis power!
  6. More from the guy who brought me Desperado, this one is also a very cool piece. I'm not a big fan of FFVII (yeah, yeah, I know, but it just doesn't do it for me like VIII) but this song is really hype, nice beat, awesome tune... good choice, and keep up the good work!
  7. Nice work, I really like Standby's work. If only there was more than just the two that are out now... regardless, this piece is one of my favorites from OCRemix to date. Great work, and keep it up!
  8. Heh, I laughed out loud once this song got going. After listening to a lot of techno and trance remixes, and a couple piano ones, this reggae-styled electronica meet string chord song just threw me off entirely--but worry not, it did so in a positive way. I loved it, and while I couldn't listen to it in excess, that first time is such a charmer. Thanks for the beat!
  9. I really liked this song. Nice slow intro, but then it gets a little quicker and disharmonic. I don't know what it is about disharmony that attracts me so, but in the end, I just thoroughly enjoyed this song. However, it was lacking something memorable, so by the time I had finished listening to another remix, I actually couldn't remember what this one sounded like--I had to go back and listen to it again before reviewing it. So I'm going to give it an 8.5/10, for it was quite good stand alone, very unique, but it just lacked that oomph that makes a mix memorable.
  10. Wow. I love it. The original is good, but this is so much better. It doesn't quite match the orchestral version of it, which is by and by far musical perfection. However, this song has officially got me hooked on game remixes. I'm going to go out and give it a 9.5/10, but not if you are looking for good techno or trance--this gets the score for just being damn good.
  11. I actually really liked it--and this is from someone who didn't like any trance or techno before finding this site. I don't know exactly what it was, it was just... really aggressive, it sort of yelled at you, if you know what I mean. I didn't find it too repetitive at all... in all, 8.5/10, maybe even a 9. Good work!
  12. As a huge, huge fan of the original Primal Eyes, I was sort of put off by this remix. This isn't to say that any remix fo a song I love is displeasing to me--I like many of the FF remixes which totally take apart songs I like--however, this remix completely ruins the original, in my opinion. However, as a remix in and of itself, it's not bad. 2.5 out of 5... but next time, remix a more remix-friendly song.
  13. M'kay... thanks for the info. All right, I know I'm new, and I personally hate it when new people on my forums make such a bold request as this, but whatever... what comes around goes around, I s'pose. Seeing as this is a community of people who like games enough to remix the themes and underscores, I find it a bit odd that there is no subforum for gaming talk and whatnot. Are there any plans at all for beginning one? If not, then I guess this is a suggestion for it. My two cents. <__< >__> I made no such request. Hmm? Not me. Nope... *runs away in fear of being stoned due to the newbie syndrome* ...Hate being new.
  14. Hey all; Name's Kapuran, and I've recently discovered your site. I love these remixes... kudos to the artists who made them. I frequent many other forums, so I have a grasp of forum rules, and general likes and dislikes, but I do have one question. Is there any way to upload or link to your own, original avatar, instead of using the given ones? Thanks.
