DJ Crono ain't no fluke. He's certainly bringing a unique contribution to the world of game remixes, and whether you dig 'em or not, there's gotta be props on some level for trying something new + different. When I first heard his stuff with the FF6 mix from awhile back, I have to admit that initially I was doubtful, but I found myself really enjoying it. I was bummed to find out that the vocals were all samples, but then he turned around and with this and his previous mix did his own vocals. And they're good. This Wild Arms ReMix is every bit as strong musically (which is always the key, eh?) as his previous mixes, has a nice Spanish beat / hip-hop sound to it, and is mixed very cleanly. Lyrics are again good stuff, and while this track could subsist on its own without vocals, they add greatly to it, but still don't overpower the excellent variety of lead synth, ambient pads, strings, a nice short blip synth, guitar, and swell-stabs. There's also some expertly placed vocal samples like "you want the mic back, gimme the mic back" and great vocal processing throughout. Just great stuff, and perhaps a notch better than Jovette's previous efforts, this is some fantastic news for Wild Arms fans, DJ Crono fans, and OCR fans in general. Fresh stuff, highly recommended.

Love it, it's got a really unique feel to it. I actually like how it's in a different language, it adds to it. Happily stumbled upon this on rainwave.cc. Keep it up DJ...!

I'm not 100% sure on the lead synth, but the rest of this is super stylin'. Great layering, and the beats are very nice. All the lyrics and different vocal parts are great, and add a very unique feel to the song. Great BBQ background music, I really like it.

This is some beautifully haunting stuff from Jovette that never seems to fail in catching me off guard. I fall in love with the dark and lonely sound every time, each time unexpectedly. It's a total surprise because I'm not a big supporter of this type of vocal performance, and I generally think that lyrics in a mix used to convey anything but fun, comedic material come of as wanky. However, this is absolutely one of the big exceptions. I may not have any idea what is being said half the time, but damn, it works.

I've always liked layered vocal elements in music, and while this is perhaps more subtle than some other examples I could name, it's definitely effective nonetheless.

I'm really adamant to get behind this mix and shine a little light on it. For being unique, stylish and the darkest kind of pleasure, it deserves anything but getting lost in the shuffle. A very remarkable mix, for me.

The title is French, huh? Seems really close to the Italian way of saying it.

Dov'è l'amore.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this song. It is an amazing song. If this is really you singing, then i may respect this song more than any other here. Anyone can make a synthy techno beat, but it takes real skills to write lyrics and sing them. My favorite part of this is the harmonized skribbling "gijja gijja" it sounds like. As they say on ebay, "A+++++++++ WOULD LISTEN AGAIN"

This one has to be your best.

Very South Koreaish style of rap.

Nobody has made a Boomerang Flash remix yet! When will the injustice end? *sobs over the body of a dying friend*

The lyrics could have been louder, but this is still very cool, catchy work. Though I'm admittedly not really a fan of his other material, this is really excellent stuff from DJ Crono, and one you should absolutely check even if you don't care for or know the Wild ARMs soundtrack.

This song...isnt just a song. Its beyond words to describe. Ever have an obsession with a song and you listen to it over and over for hours? This one has that quality. Its so intoxicating. Amarillo azul
Otra historia de amor
hoy se ha vuelto a escribir
DJ Crono es en la casa...

[Lyrics inspired by Cher - "Dov'è L'amore"]
Dov'è l'amore, dov'è l'amore,
Give it to me, give it to me,
Non c'e nessuno, non c'e nessuno
Bello come te e ti amo

[Chorus x2]
Dov'è l'amore, dov'è l'amore, (no puede dar promesas de amor)
Give it to me, give it to me, (mi voz no puedes jurar)
Bello come te e i amo

[Lyrics from Thalia - "Amarillo Azul"]
Amarillo azul, a media luz,
voy pintando de colores tus besos
Amarillo azul, a cara o cruz,
cuando el diablo tiene cara de ángel

The feelings that we have for each other, my love, are immortal,
And the sins we possess, without any test, can be fatal,
For the ideas in my soul are fragile like a crystal,
I don't know... where... do I belong?

[Chorus x2]

Viva la, viva la, viva la DJ Crono
Jovette Rivera finale especial...

ENGLISH:

Yellow blue
Another love story
Today has been rewritten
DJ Crono is in the house...

[Lyrics inspired by Cher - "Dov'è L'amore"]
Where is the love, where is the love,
Give it to me, give it to me,
There is no other, there is no other
As beautiful as you and I love you

You're sighing undying love in my ear
You fell in the trap without knowing it was fatal
Your ideals broke up like fragile crystal
You did not know that love is a carnal desire

[Chorus x2]
Where is the love, where is the love, (you can not give promises of love)
Give it to me, give it to me, (my voice can not swear)
There is no other (do not need), there is no other (a rite in the heart)
As beautiful as you and I love you

[Lyrics from Thalia - "Amarillo Azul"]
Amarillo azul, a media luz,
voy pintando de colores tus besos
Amarillo azul, a cara o cruz,
cuando el diablo tiene cara de ángel

Yellow blue, in half light,
I'm going to paint your kisses
Yellow blue, heads or tails,
When the devil has the face of an angel

The feelings that we have for each other, my love, are immortal,
And the sins we possess, without any test, can be fatal,
For the ideas in my soul are fragile like a crystal,
I don't know... where... do I belong?

[Chorus x2]

Long live, long live, long live DJ Crono
Jovette Rivera special finale...
