DJ Snivy's moves... they are smooth. And rather upbeat/energizing, I must say; originally from OCU's Spring Break DJ Set, this is our first featured arrangement of Pokémon Black/White, a sugary & enthusiastic pop/rock/edm hybrid from OceansAndrew (Andrew Luers) of OverClocked University:
"A mix of some of my favorite tracks from Pokémon Black. I really love Hitomi Sato's chords, and I think I've blended the three themes pretty well. Has a good dance beat and some funky bass playing."
Yes, yes, and yes. Love the progression and how it slides from chord to chord w/ the backing synth pads - smooth moves, as promised. DJ Snivy does need to work on his endings, though, since the originally submitted version had an abrupt halt-and-catch-fire cutoff, which has been somewhat mitigated (but not entirely) with this faded revision. prophetik music writes:
"andrew's come so far as an artist since i got to know him on the Radical Dreamers project. he's always been a superb guitarist - as shown here! and i'll never forget him shredding anything that was thrown at him at jamspace every time i was at magfest - but the progression he's made as an arranger showcases his work ethic as well as anything. i love the melding of styles here - you've got some clear jazz elements represented in the chords and articulations at :39, there's the fusion of edm and rock at 1:30 when he brings in the lead on his guitar, and a real pop ballad feel at 1:44 when he brings the dotted quarter pads. the whole package is superb."
Liontamer adds:
"Always loved this! A track with energy that brings a smile to your face."
While he's (repeatedly) proven he can do a wide variety of moods/styles, OA's got the whole positive-vibes-rock/pop-jam thing down pat, working in some EDM elements for a musical sugar/caffeine boost that'll put pep in your step & pride in your stride. Excellent stuff, enjoy!

Certified foot tapper. Fantastic remix. Don't have much else to say about it other than that it is very good! ?

What a masterpiece! But something is wrong in description… The song is not Route 2. It should be Route 12.

I've been a Pokemon fan since Gen 1. It's crazy how joyful he makes the electric guitar and Pokemon Black sound. Good job.
