Hey, prozax does voice samples! And a more dance-oriented beat as well - very much a departure from his more rock ReMixes. 'Time to Choose' enters with the voice of the Black Mesa research facility, then brings in some in-game voice samples. Then at one point, the whole 'get the hell outta there' quote plays, and a bitchin' guitar solo (this being a prozax review, you DID expect that line, right?) comes in and wraps things up. It's hard to quantify just how much solos add to a song, in my own estimation, and guitar solos, when well done (and how else does Mr. prozax do'em?) definitely qualify. It'd be cool to see some other acoustic instruments featured, as well. So bring out your kazoos, mandolins, tabla, sitar, banjo, jawharp, shahnai, bagpipes, and contra bass clarinet, because prozax and the other guitar players need some company! (I could probably do something with my valve trombone . . . but you wouldn't wanna hear it). Another great one - and moving into new territory as well - for prozax.

Nice intro, very different from what we've heard from prosax before. Then suddenly there's a dance beat! The suddenly there's live guitars! I'm not overly sold on this one to be honest, it's a bit all over the place with regards to song structure and the guitar doesn't really mesh too well with the rest of the track. However it is nice to see that the remixer is willing to try new things!

Freaky intro leading into an awesome rock/electronic arrangement of Half-Life music. Everything about this remix reminds me of an early 90s MS-DOS action adventure game. Whether that’s intentional or not, it’s nothing short of amazing.

Very cool vocal intro! I loved the fade on it, and then how the instruments were brought in one-ish at a time.

And then the beat gets going.... Nice!! This has a great energy to it, and does a good job capturing the Half Life feel. The passage that starts at 2:39 is a particular standout for me.

This is actually going in a couple of my playlists, it's that catchy! People, give this a listen! It's worth your time, I promise.

Hah, that speech synthesizer intro and those vocal samples. I think this mix is supposed to be spooky. The rock/house treatment is OK, but this didn't really hold up too well over the years. Nice guitar performances, though the tones feel thin. It's an alright mix.
