Damn, TheGuitahHeroe is really on a roll... of this excellent Heat Man vs. Bubble Man electronica matchup from GRMRB, he writes:
"So this was my Round 3 remix for this year's Grand Robot Master Remix Battle, headed by Darkesword. In this round I was pitted against Sir_NutS; unfortunately he didn't have enough free time to fully complete his mix (which featured really unique vocals by Mae). This mix was pretty heavily inspired by Deadmau5 and Pendulum's "The Island." There's even a chord progression in there which is very similar to that of the verse progression of "The Island." The name itself was more of an afterthought (it was originally named "Heat Man's Bubble Bath", lol). Alright, that's it from me. Hope you guys dig!"
Never has a tragic drowning sounded so good, or inspired so much toe-tappin', head-bobbin' agreement. Even curmudgeonly veteran Vigilante was down:
"That kick has some serious smack. I love the shimmer on the bell synths. The arrangement is great."
Palpable adds:
"...there's no denying this arrangement works and is catchy. Love the My Love-style gated synths introduced near the beginning, that added a lot. Let's go."
Slick, shimmery, gleaming future-musics with plenty of melody, infectious, gut-pumping kick, and panache to spare. Jamison just keeps getting better, and is racking up quite an impressive playlist of excellent, well-produced arrangements. Love it, no complaints from me, great coding/surfing/productivity music, with plenty of mojo for the dancefloor as well.

Loving thiiiiis. Love that full, complete sound. The mix progresses with such a natural confidence that its easy to stop thinking about the music and just absorb it.
Intersecting of the two melodies is brilliantly handled; they seem to play nice with eachother rather than bouncing off one another or competing for the spotlight.
Always nice to listen to something of this quality level. Dat sheen of polish is beautiful.

This is a full-on night time party that you can dance and bop to all night long if I ever heard one. Nothing tragic about Heat Man's drowning when you combine his and Bubbleman's themes so excellently. The beat goes hard and I'm loving this.

Great arrangement, and kickin' beat. The synths work well here, and the section that comes in at around 1:04 is lovely to my ears : D Also 2:26 - dubstep before TGH even knew what dubstep was.
This gem is probably my favorite from you in the Mega Man remix competitions. It's super catchy, and I found myself humming this for quite a while after it was posted. Good job!

TGH is sure a prolific newcomer - it seems I keep ending up hearing yet another song of his when going through all the songs I haven't commented on yet/missed.
This song exhibits his trademark style, but it does so without the brash almost chippish lead synth that's characteristic of a bunch of his tracks. There's a solid beat and softer synths sounds, which lends to a nice cooler upbeat take on Heat Man, which is a bit ironic considering the source what type of boss it is. Regardless, it's a relaxing upbeat take that stands out on its own.

Great tune from a great game: snappy and danceable with ear-pleasing synth design.

This was one of my favorites from the GRMRB 2011. I loved the pounding percussion and synth progression and the arrangement of the two melodies is very catchy. Great job TGH!
