That last bit translates to "thanks for the apañeee!" if you were wondering. We were hoping to post this on Halloween but Larry & I both have chibbins and the weekend was occupied with preparations. On my end, Esther was Korra, from Legend of Korra, and Sarah was Princess Jasmine. It was very cute. Larry's entire fam did a unified Lilo & Stitch that was absolutely on point, as well. But I digress; this is dark, brooding metal that blends in vocalizing for a gothic vibe. Character-names-as-lyrics reminds me of the Akira soundtrack, though the similarities essentially stop there. Some brutal, aggressive lead guitar seals the deal, and Erik's mastering is top-notch, as everything lands with clarity & impact; Liontamer evaluated:

"I've actually not had the opportunity to hear the post-Danny B music of the Binding of Isaac series until now, so props to Ridiculon for their great work in picking up the baton; the energy of "Diptera Sonata" is something to behold. Super, super heavy, with Viking Guitar's mastering undoubtedly adding that extra oomph to it. Very nice work, Mauricio! :-) Great collab with María here, and I like how her vocals are mixed in to provide the wailing and chanting to bring additional depth. The guitar chugs, the bass, the drums, you've come so far with your tone & production as well! \m/"

Superb stuff - vocals are integrated effectively, with María's performance adding that extra level of depth, chugs & drums hit hard, guitar melts an appropriate quantity of face, and the whole package is a dark, brutal, & sinister gothic metal tribute to Ridiculon's original. Excellent work!
