I love how fitting it feels to post this now, because this week we not only had an Undertale arrangement, we also had a hard-hitting track with non-stop energy; with this track, it almost feels like a cousin of both tracks as Spad3s' sophomore ReMix goes ham with a hard-hitting & transformative take on Toby Fox's Deltarune!

"Berdly had enough, now it's time for him to prove his worth.

Kind of Berdly's theme version of "Alphys Takes Action", but more hardcore style rather than Toby's style of music. :)

I cannot believe I haven't submitted this one yet! A "Smart Race" remix turned Deltarune medley, with a heavy focus on "Smart Race". One of my best remixes I think, constantly evolving and staying interesting and throwing motifs and genres at you. Can u hear all the motifs? Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it! :D

I always enjoy taking VGM and turning into other genres. :)"

Spad3s' debut Deltarune ReMix, an upbeat diamond in the rough, clubbed us over the head with how much heart it had, but now it's time to get grimier with intense EDM, along with some amazing 8-bit spices, augmented with brief segments of arranged Undertale and Don't Starve Together to compliment the Deltarune themes. Judge prophetik music noted that this was loud (you don't say!), and while the track's very focused on "Smart Race", Spad3s also ran a smart race of dropping in other theme cameos, especially toward the end:

"this is...really loud! it's so sidechained and compressed it's hard to hear what's going on in some places. but i'll admit the way that the themes are interwoven near the end are really slick. there's some fun call and response stuff that i really enjoyed, and the pace overall of the track is solid. i think that the arrangement is good and the mastering is good enough (i believe my response to it is more personal preference than actual issue since everything can be heard pretty well). so i'll call this a yes."

Fellow panelist Gario is also known around here for full-bodied tracks, so while he had some helpful "kindred spirit" critiques in his full vote, he was absolutely and unreservedly on board:

"Wow, this thing slams onto the scene, doesn't it? Gotta respect the Berdly opening into the Queen's theme, they blend perfectly (shouldn't be a surprise since the Queen's theme makes short, motivic cameos in the smart race track, as well). It's pedal to the metal all the way through, but it doesn't ever get boring in the slightest - it keeps ya guessing all throughout the track, with all those cameo themes. Definitely keeps its own identity consistent throughout, with that Berdly theme really acting like the glue to keep it all together. There's an argument to be made that the piano section at the end doesn't quite fit and sounds more like a different song starting, but honestly it doesn't bother me."

I dug 3:28's piano ending too; there's nothing at all wrong with presenting a new creative wrinkle towards the finish, and, if anything, Spad3s impressed me by making such a distinct change in mood work as a contrast to the manic energy most of the way. I'm glad Gario noted how people might potentially react, but clarified that it didn't bother him; let Ch3f Spad3s cook, I say! :-) Besides the BIG overall energy of this dance adaption, I absolutely got washed over with nostalgia for the 8-bit segment from 2:53-3:06, which was a brief respite from the density, but a nice palette cleanser, and even a creative foreshadowing of sorts for the other big textural change of the closing piano section. An awesome, power-packed punch of goodness from Spad3s that's deceptively diverse in its presentation; wonderful job!

The synth work in this one is really freakin' cool. I like it a lot. Arrangement has a ton of good energy and all the changeups hit hard. The organic instruments blend real well, and the little undertale call-back towards the end was nicely implemented.
This is a must listen.
