Note that the judging process does allow for some mixes to be posted faster than others, depending on circumstances. Also, depending on how many mixes are queued, it may take anywhere from 2-3 months for your mix to receive initial evaluation. While awaiting evaluation, you can submit other VGM arrangements to '''<span style="color:orange">[mailto:submissions@ocremix.org submissions@ocremix.org]</span>''' (once every 2 weeks, 1 arrangement per email). Submissions do not need to be brand new or exclusive to OC ReMix; anything from your existing body of work is welcome.

This article's purpose is to maintain the latest version of the auto-confirmation email ReMixers get when submitting.

THIS IS AN AUTOMATED RESPONSE - DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL!

Greetings -

Thank you for submitting your music to OverClocked ReMix. By doing so, you are indicating that you have read and agreed to our Content Policy (https://ocremix.org/info/Content_Policy).

Assuming your submission follows OC ReMix's Submission Standards and Instructions (https://ocremix.org/info/Submission_Standards_and_Instructions), and the link/attachment functions correctly, we will evaluate it as soon as possible, roughly in the order it was received.

Note that the judging process does allow for some mixes to be posted faster than others, depending on circumstances. Also, depending on how many mixes are queued, it may take anywhere from 2-3 months for your mix to receive initial evaluation. While awaiting evaluation, you can submit other VGM arrangements to submissions@ocremix.org (once every 2 weeks, 1 arrangement per email). Submissions do not need to be brand new or exclusive to OC ReMix; anything from your existing body of work is welcome.

After initial evaluation, you will receive a letter informing you that the submission will be either...

  • Rejected without further evaluation;
  • Placed on the judges panel for further evaluation; or
  • Approved without further evaluation.

If, after initial evaluation, your submission is passed onto the judges panel (https://ocremix.org/info/Judges_Panel), it will be listed as "To Be Judged" at the "Currently in the Judging Process" forum thread, where you can check the status (https://ocremix.org/community/topic/2765/).

If your submission is passed onto the judges panel, the judges' decision (with feedback) will be posted in our Judges Decisions forum (https://ocremix.org/community/forum/11/). For approved submissions reviewed by the judges, this feedback will *not* be publicly available until after the arrangement is posted. In either case, we will also email you the feedback thread link.

If primary evaluation takes longer than 9 months, please send one of the judges a reminder via our forums (https://ocremix.org/info/Judges_Panel). Register for our forums at https://ocremix.org/community/register/, if you haven't already. Visit our Discord server (https://discord.gg/VABjqGa) for even more community resources.

We strive to improve our submissions evaluation speed - we realize the process is lengthy, but we believe ensuring a consistent benchmark for the site is important.
