Final Fantasy VII

Believe it or not, this is the FIRST Final Fantasy ReMix on the site, which is strange given the series popularity - I guess there are just so many other sites that already carry SPECIFICALLY squaresoft mixes that no one bothered. Well, someone finally DID submit something, and a kickass something it is - Ailsean's brilliant ReMix of the FF7 arpeggio-laden theme is VERY slick, with some excellent guitar playing and just a general overal high quality . . you MUST download it

I've had this one for a while, and I still love it.
One of OCR's classic remixes :-D

1:38 - 2:08 -- maybe my favorite 30 seconds of music on this site. Amazing. Just amazing.

You guys cracked down on a lot of stuff that followed the source pretty closely. Well I guess a lot of it was MIDI rips which this is NOT so perhaps my fears were unfounded?
Edit: Not trying to start a debate on the lockdown or anything, just an expression about my joy for this song being on the site ^_^

Uh, why would it have even been at risk to be removed?

This mix effortlessly gives the edge, character, and life to the Prelude. With character comes the rich collection of thoughts and mood presented in this mix. Kinda paints a picture of the badass Cloud, haha, well, that's how I see it. Keep it up!

So ... mellow .... There is one thing that can describe this, and I beg the internet to forgive me. This track is <3.

Although I'm no softy and can't really get into this, I can hear the technical skill. It's a bit empty as a mix, but relaxing as such. Man, I hate relaxing. But, hey, if you can make me relax then somethings done correctly. Kinda makes me feel like I'm chillin' on the beach with Kidd and Serge...
Why FF7?

A very nice remix, but I agree that it would have been nicer if it lasted a bit longer.

- AlexTheGreyWolfe on October 11, 2005
Is this how the prelude would sound if the player was high?
Anyway, a soothing guitarremix with nice drums that proves that a guitarremix doesn´t need to be loud to be great. And for those who hasn´t listened to "terra in black": Ailsean sure knows how to rock.
Thank you Ailsean, keep up the good work.

Yeah! This is awesome. Kudos to you Ailsean! Very trippy, very surreal, very "I was high when I played Final Fantasy". I'm impressed...

I must applaud Ailsean for his masterful electric guitar, He puts it in nearly every song, but every time he makes it different, and never stale. I love the Final Fantasy series, and I'm glad that he can do justice to the beloved theme.

There are no words to describe how awesome
this remix is. I listen to it and I can't
stop until it's done. A must for anybody
who enjoys the music of OverClocked Remix,
one of many!

Great piece !
What could've been better was to extend the ending part at 2:57 just a bit more
Otherwise hell with it AWESOME piece!
