  1. I was also a moonwalk kid, though my brothers were so much better. I was always a minimal dancer; pulling it off but not being great. Hm, I can do some dancing but I am not much on the street styles.

I'm certain that I'd never be on Mike's level. The writing? I may be able to level with that, but despite my high falsetto, I can't hee-hee for shit and I know that I'll never be the dancer he is.

One thing about him that I share in common very strongly: diversity. I loved how he didn't give a fuck about haters because he was Bad; a Smooth Criminal, but on the other hand, he was the same man who told you to "Beat It"; the same one who asked "Why" in Human Nature; the same one who acknowledged hidden love in "Just Good Friends"; the amazing star who sang on the Soundtrack of Free Willy...

He was the Man. He hee-hee'd, ow'd, permed his hair, thrusted his crotch, was shy and spoke with a soft voice, but he was still manlier than you!

    Lol, well said.

1st album i ever bought was dangerous, on cassette, i might be a punk rock/thrash/hard rock/etc fan now, but jackson meant a lot to me (and so to most kids from the 90s...), i don't even want to imagine what my life would be if i didn't buy that album back then... basically he got me into music...

    this sucks a lot...

I like that homage pic with Michael Jackson, Skull. I would like your permission to use this as my signature to show my respect to him. All of this still hasn't sunken for me as yet.

  3. Another legend passes. The original Blues Brothers was on cable the other day and I can still remember the church scene vividly... Who's next, Arethra?

    8O

    DON'T SAY THAT!!!

    Yeah seriously.

I'm gonna say it loud. I'm black and I'm proud.

    R.I.P. James Brown.

  4. 8O OH MY GOD 8O

IT SUCKED. It's one of THE worst remixes I have EVER heard. You just HAD to go and remix a Castlevania track and fux0r it up...didn't ya?

Sorry if I seem extremely negative but...hearing some of my favorite music from one of my all-time favorite game series being BUTCHERED without the proverbial reach-around...was MORE THAN I COULD STAND.

In the future...PLEASE remember that Castlevania is a ROCKER'S game. Keep it away from the RAP. Good GODS!

(Yes. It's one of my first posts. I FINALLY had a reason to bitch.)

*sighs* To each his own...aw screw it! You really give n00bs like me a bad name. You could have posted your thoughts without sounding so biotchy and close-minded.

Now to my review of this remix...

This remix was well put together. I loved the piano intro in the song and I personally think that the horns wasn't necessary but, that's my opinion. I don't like rap that much and it's not a favorite of mine either but, so what?! It doesn't take way from the fact that DJ Crono did a good job on this remix. That's my take on it.

  5. Hey, I agree that it could have used just a little more bass...just a little. However, I don't believe that it was really necessary because this remix sounds great without more bass in it. Maybe AmIEviL figured that more bass was unnecessary so, let's give the man his props! I'm still replaying it so you know that his remix is that good.
