Thanks for the comments, everyone- I've been an OCR listener for years, and I'm glad to finally be more of a part of it.
I think I stayed pretty true to the feeling of the game, but I wanted to enhance the impact by using better instruments and a slightly riskier arrangement. The original functions very well as video game music trditionally does- it's good enough to enhance the experience, but doesn't stand too much out or steal focus from the gameplay. This arrangement (hopefully) allows the music to get some of the attention it deserves.
A quick plug- on my site there's a remix (from Bionic Commando) that I submitted to OCR a while back that got voted down by a narrow margin. The judges points were well taken, but I'm pretty happy with the mix, and I hope you take the time to listen and share your feedback.

I was pleased to be asked to be a part of the article. I was assuming they were also going to link to OCR, but I guess not.
I've been coming to OCR for years. I'm so happy to be a part of the community, OCR is the place to be.
