I listened to his haunting remix of Super Metroid and was inspired to start writing this one: Super Metroid Main Theme I never knew him or heard his work when he was with us, but I am writing this one with Avien in mind. Thanks Doc, I was going for just a plan vanilla update of the song, no fancy bells and whistles. And that counter melody is an oboe, the cornet and oboe are both from the VSL Library, I used SD2 for percussion, VSL strings and some EWQLSO thrown in there as well.

Chopin is a huge influence on me so that may be why you see the similarity. And yes, I know the audio is terrible, the only way for me to get a nice quality audio signal with that setup is to go through a very complex signal flow due to the 1/4" outputs being fried, and recording to the disk in the keyboard itself, bouncing to .wav than transferring the .wav via USB cable or flash, which I need headphones to utilize this fashion, and I didn't want to do that for YouTube, but I agree with you 100%, and i'll get a pristine audio version soon, I have EWQLSO Silver so I could MIDI the whole thing I suppose.
