Seeking shredders for thrash album
Onslaught Six replied to Onslaught Six's topic in Recruit & Collaborate!
I did but I never received anything back. I still need some people--and fast!--so if anyone's interested, go ahead and post, or send me a PM. -
Hey there! I'm seeking some talented lead guitarists who are available very soon to lay down some lead guitar parts on some songs I have for my new album. I can offer some (small) monetary consolation if that's what you're into, or I can just owe you a musical (or graphic design?) favour. We can trade off! I'm skilled in drum and synth arrangement, rhythm guitar, vocals and bass guitar...basically, everything but lead guitar! I'm not comfortable posting a public link to the new material (for obvious reasons) but I can offer a link to my last album: http://onslaughtsix.bandcamp.com/album/first-blood If you're interested, send me a PM, post in the thread, email me at OnslaughtSix at gmail, tweet at me, find me on FB, send smoke signals, whatever! I want your delicious licks all over these tracks. Get up on it.

That makes sense. Whoops! -

http://onslaughtsix.bandcamp.com/album/first-blood FIRST BLOOD is my 80s action movie-inspired thrash metal album that I've been working on for a few months. It's finally out and I want everyone to hear it. It's on Bandcamp, so you can listen to it for free. You can download it for only $4, get a CD for $7, and I even have a special edition with bonus stuff for only $15. Check it out.

Hi! I'm an original artist in need of help. I have a thrash metal themed album called 'First Blood' coming out in early June. Most of the songs are recorded in some demo format but they still need some shredding guitar solos over parts. They do not need to be particularly long or particularly mindblowing or great solos--just something servicable that fits with the song. If this sounds like something you're interested in, PM me or reply! Here is a sample of the kind of thing this is, from my latest album. (The new stuff is way better.) http://onslaughtsix.bandcamp.com/track/gravedigger-2

The Dolphin maxi-single is now available! $2 to download, $5 for the CD. For just $10 total, you can also grab it along with the John Carpenter EP in a special hand-taped bundle! This single features remixes from me, Glass, A Drowning Angel, Quiet Corpse, The Electric Witch, Autonami, CTRL_ALT_DSTRY and Space Disc Jockey! http://onslaughtsix.com/dolphin http://onslaughtsix.bandcamp.com/album/dolphin-maxi-single The dolphin can take you to the data.

So I'm putting together a kind of oldschool "maxi-single"/remix EP/what have you for a song off my latest full length album, Termina, and I was wondering if anybody in this forum would be interested in remixing/covering/what have you. The song is called "Dolphin" and is based on the song Johnny Mnemonic. Here's a link to the song: http://onslaughtsix.bandcamp.com/track/dolphin Here's a link to the multitrack stems: http://db.tt/FgAbkSjS Let me know if you're interested! There's no hard deadline on this but I'm hoping to have it finished up by early December. (Also if anyone has some feedback on the original track or any of my music, that'd be cool too!)

ALTOONA, PA - After a year and three months of hard, grueling work, TERMINA, the much-anticipated third major album from indie industrial artist ONSLAUGHT SIX has finally been digitally released. Featuring 12 tracks and over 70 minutes of music, the industrial opus has been described as "Twelve punches to the face--for real this time." Featuring the tracks Termina, Blue, Dolphin, Blasphemer, and Tablets of Destiny, the album features a wide variety of topics, primarily the video game The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and Jadusable's Haunted Cartridge story, as well as the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion and other influences. Inspired primarily by early industrial artists like Skinny Puppy and Front 242, there are other influences as well; Devin Townsend, Nine Inch Nails, 16volt, Zeromancer and Wumpscut all have a clear presence on the album, but Onslaught Six insists he is more than the sum of those parts. "The album is definitely steeped in industrial lore, old and new--that's part of the appeal, I think," he says. "But I feel like I really bring something to the table, something nobody else is doing right now in the industrial world--or if they are, they're not doing it like I am." The album also features guest appearances by Geoff Barone (This Place Is Haunted) and Jesse Husted (Vision To None), and the coming CD release will feature artwork by freelance artist Kaptain Carbon. Onslaught hopes that in the future, more artists he admires will work with him. "I want the follow-up to Termina to be very collaboration-based. I want more people to come in and add their input. I want more people to take the basic clay that I've made, and mould it into something greater than we could create separately." As for what he hopes people will say about the album? "I hope they like it. I think it's the best thing I've ever done. I only ever set out to create music that I'd like to hear, and if someone else enjoys it, that's cool too." Termina released digitally on March 15th. You can stream the entire album for free here, and also purchase the digital version. In addition, Onslaught Six is running an IndieGoGo fundraising campaign to raise money to press and release the CD version; you can contribute to that here.

I set up an IndieGoGo campaign to fund the CD release of my forthcoming album Termina: http://tinyurl.com/terminafunds It'll sound like this: http://onslaughtsix.bandcamp.com/album/termina It's an industrial metal concept album based on Majora's Mask (in part) as well as taking bits from Evangelion, Johnny Mnemonic, etc.

I'm looking to get some peeps to do some more remixes of my tunes for maybe some deluxe-edition-type releases or something. Anyway! Point is. Pick a song from Lamda Ecks or Tidal Wave. I'd prefer the former but both need more remixes: http://onslaughtsix.bandcamp.com/album/x-enter-the-machine http://onslaughtsix.bandcamp.com/album/tidal-wave-ep Post what song you want. I'll post multitracks for that song. You remix it. You post it. I tell you if it's good and if you need to fix shitty mastering or anything. You send me a .WAV. I upload it to my Bandcamp. You can do whatever you want with yours--sell it, put it up for free, whatever--as long as I am free to do the same. You have no reason not to do this.

For the last, I dunno, ten months or something, I've been working on a remastered and improved (read: not shitty) version of Lamda Ecks. All vocals now re-EQ'd, many instruments remixed or otherwise fixed up, compression applied, most songs remixed fully from scratch. It now sounds 100% better. If you liked the way they sounded before then you should hold on to those recordings because I saved over my original masters because honestly I think it sounds much better now. Let me know what you think. Also, the 13th bonus track "Walk On Water," the Ozzy Osbourne cover, is now streaming. As download incentive, I now have seven (!) demos from the creation of Lamda Ecks, including demos of Isolation and Digital Omega that date back to 2008. http://onslaughtsix.bandcamp.com/album/x-enter-the-machine To help promote the remastered album, I've (finally) put out the Future single. I do not currently have any physical copies of this but I'm working on it. It has a single edit of Future, an instrumental version, and three remixes done by people from around the Internets. They are all very good remixes and you should go listen to them. http://onslaughtsix.bandcamp.com/album/future-single Finally, I was recording elements for a new song Turtles a few weeks ago when I pushed the wrong keys and something fucked up came out of my speakers. So I recorded it, and put it up. http://onslaughtsix.bandcamp.com/track/jhiaxus

Well, partially anyway! I have five demo songs up from my upcoming Termina LP; they're all work-in-progresses and I would love feedback (constructive or deconstructive, positive/negative, I don't care which) on it. Please give it a listen and let me know what you think. http://onslaughtsix.bandcamp.com/album/termina
