    So we're working on hopefully having a new server in a month and a half or so - things are looking pretty good for me working by the end of the month at a pretty good job and if that happens, I will be able to cover the server. I will probably make a new thread when the time comes.

    What do people want to see? What maps, plugins (Powerlord's map voting plugin, pregame mayhem, etc.), settings (mp_timelimit/mp_winlimit, sudden death, melee only sudden death, etc.), features, and more do you all want? What should the server be named? Who should be admin? Reserve slots exclusively for regulars? What features should reserve slot holders be able to access?

    Let me know!

    Bucking the trend of last minute scheduling, we have finalized our match to be on Sunday, December 5th at 9 PM EST. I'll schedule it in the Steam group.

    On an unrelated note, Chili's birthday is the day before, on Saturday.

    EDIT: Something we did for the first few matches and have since neglected is doing a walkthrough of the map and discussing strategy. Should we attempt to do this again?

    We should actually have time for it this time. So, yeah. If you think you know peoples schedules well enough then just put up a random event in the steam group.

    I'm fine with just about anything. By the way, I can't access this thread from my other(main) computer. I'm not sure why; I can see every other thread. So, basically, I'm probably going to be slow with receiving and responding to the information posted in here.

    Yes, I adore the Saharan set. The extra flicker time is murder though. Good thing the DR doesn't flicker to begin with.

    Also I can't use it for the tournament anyway. Sadface.

    For time, I'm thinking of proposing Saturday night, 9 PM EST or so. Y/N?

    My thought is he is being a dick and I have no problem taking a win by forfeit from them.

    Yup. I don't recall them giving us the whole day. Twice they asked for a time that we cannot do. Now they are telling us we're being assholes for simply taking the default time over their proposed time? There is simply no way we can go earlier then 8:30 on any day since it means we lose our best players.

    EDIT: That being said, if the admins give us a chance to play on another day at this time and xSWATx agrees, then I think we should take it.

    Note about Scoring: Upward and Gravelpit operate under stopwatch rules: The team that captures more points, or the team that capures the same number of points faster, wins the round. Upward is one round, Gravelpit is two. In Gravelpit's case, the teams will play in ABBA order. Ask on the forums if you're unsure what this means. Viaduct is simply first to 5.

    I looked through the rules and we can change the time from default if we can get both teams to agree.

    1.3 Separate schedule & match deadline for every match – Default Date for unscheduled matches

    Every match has its own schedule and match deadline. All deadlines can be found on our [Calendar] or at the [Events] subpage.

    If a match is not arranged by the schedule deadline, admins will decide a default match date. After that, a match date can only be changed if both teams agree on another date or if one team takes a wildcard.

    Thanks for keeping us updated on the highlander stuff, Paranoid.

    Anyway, we will need to have a group chat to see who can come at what times, and to remind everyone that this is coming up again. If the earliest we can get Bonzai is the time they claimed was too late for them, then I don't really see a way around that, unless there is a certain day within the acceptable time frame that Bonzai can make it. Frogg can't make it until a certain time too, right?

    I'm fine with the whole not calling people "faggot" thing, that makes sense, but when someone says something is "gay, and not the good kind of gay with two dudes kissing each other." and still gets in trouble for hate speech, that seems pretty ridiculous to me. Even more so since it was Scaids that said it.

    The trading thing seems unnecessary simply because there is already a rule about being afk too long. If someone wants to trade in game they should know exactly what they are going in to trade for.

    Now can we please talk about something actually important? Like the fact that people are making 40,000 in TWO WEEKS from royalties for Polycount Items?

    And I just remembered that I forgot about the status screenshot. If no one on our team did, then we can either ask UGLY or just take the warning that comes with not providing one.

    I need input from the rest of our team on this.
