I love the lead riff at the beginning. It sounds really attitudinal even though it's just a chiptune. Can't say too much more since I don't have that much experience with chiptunes, but if this was actually in a game, I would definitely want to be playing that game right now.

Agreeing wholeheartedly with this. I thought it was the best tune on the front page, actually. Can't wait to hear more of your album.

[WCT - [COMPETITION OVERHAUL - NEED IDEAS] The Writing Competition Thread]

I've tried NaNoWriMo, and I just cannot make myself write that fast! I fail. I'm working on a novel now and have managed 20K words in a little over a month, and that feels like my comfortable writing pace. Best of luck to everyone who entered; wishing you all great success with your stories!

[Castle of Illusion (and other Tokuhiko Uwabo Compositions)]

I realize it might be really dorky of me to request remixes from Castle of Illusion (Starring Mickey Mouse), but it's Tokuhiko Uwabo! The soundtrack has some real gems on it. I don't really have one track in particular I'd love to hear remixed, pretty much just any of them would be nice. Even the dissonant "Dungeon" tune has potential.

Also, with the release of "Epic Mickey" just around the corner, it might be a great time to look back on some of the retro Disney games.

Second item: I noticed it's been five years since anyone remixed a Tokuhiko Uwabo tune. He's one of my favorite vg composers. Anyone interested in tackling one of his games?

I'm enjoying Conjure One's new album, "Exilarch." It's a departure from the other two albums, but it's still worth a listen.

Hello! I'm a big fan of the vg remixes here. I've downloaded my fair share and decided I should join the forums, too. I hope to get to know some of you!

I love retro games; Genesis is my favorite system. Some of my favorite games include: Phantasy Star II (hence the Anna avy, plus I wanted to identify myself as a femme-type, just in case the user name wasn't a dead giveaway), ToeJam & Earl, the Lunar games, the Sonic games, Star Control, the Lufia games, the other Phantasy Star games, The Adventures of Willy Beamish, Panic! (yes, I actually liked that game), various Heroes of Might and Magic games, Populous (thought it would never run properly on my Genesis), Full Throttle, and... well, this list could go on forever.

On an even dorkier level, I write fanfic for Phantasy Star II. Unholy amounts of it, actually. Hehe.

Me? Um, I live and work in the DC metro area, I like writing (as noted above) and am currently working on a novel, I'm into a few manga series, Philip K. Dick is my favorite author, I love lasagna (like Garfield!), I'm into most genres of music except country, and I love sci-fi passionately.
