It sounds better. The bass is still rough in some places and the hit still bugs me. I think it's the synth used that bugs me, sounds too hard. If it doesn't bother you the it's alright. Keep up the good work.

I think it would be best to consult Rexy about it first... before leaving her out of the loop.

Ehh, I thought it'd be a bit odd to post that I was taking over the thread for the sake of keeping the project alive. It just seemed easier to start a new thread.

Interesting. Umm... I liked the percussion in this. I'm not sure about that odd hit that began at 0:30 and stayed for the majority of the song. I really liked what you did at about 0:56 to 1:30, but that sound just kept Coming back and didn't really let me listen to this. I just think it doesn't fit in. Regardless, you still did a nice job with this.

Hello. I recently saw a thread about a Sonic CD project. I thought this was a pretty cool idea and checked it out. No one has posted for about a month and I don't want to see this thing die, so I decided to start this in hopes of continuing the project. I'm not sure if people are still interested, but hopefully there'll be some people that want to see this through.
In terms of my goals for this, I'm not looking for a giant four-disc album. I'm more or less looking for something near the size of The Sound of Speed, possibly a two-disc album. I'm open to your interpretation, so no real rules for genre. I want to cover both the JP and US soundtracks, but only one song per stage. So, you can mix whichever theme you want, or maybe combine them. I also want to be sure Sonic Boom is mixed for this.
Am I missing something?
Anyone can sign up if they want, but unposted mixers will need to show me an example of what they can do. You know, quality control. ummm..... I don't know what else to put, so i'll just leave it at that. If you're interested in claiming a track, PM me or just post it here.

This is an a arrangement of the Final Boss from Sonic 2 and the first remix I've felt I've done well enough to post as a WIP.
The synths used in this are default with the program and I'll probably try finding better ones later. I got a bit lazy towards
the end of this and it might sound a bit odd. I'm also not that good at mixing things together, so it'll probably sound very muddy.
All forms of criticism are accepted and will be much appreciated.
