what kind of confuses me about the Kick having excess reverb is that i have the reverb to set to around 6%. I didn't realize that soo little could end up having such a big impact.

hey guys! I wanted to release this at least before the holiday season ended and luckily I managed to finish this in time. I'm trying to evolve my sound so I spent much more time than usual on this song and hope I did alright. Well here is Gill's theme from Street Fighter III Third Strike and 2nd Impact, given more of a hip hop beat rather than DnB. Actually I was inspired by Death Wish by Nujabes as you can probably tell from the drum sample. Let me know what you guys think and I hope you enjoy it.

A hip hop remix of the heavenly garden theme. It's nothing tooooo fancy but it was enough to make me happy in the end.

I know you labeled this finished but are you still touching it? The groove sounds great, but you need need to embellish that piano to make this shine. You stick to the same riff for the whole song, you need to get in there and add some personalization, maybe some soloing. Doesn't have to be on some virtuoso ish or anything, just some nice exploration of the main melody.
What you have going is really great, but the piano is uncharacteristically dry in comparison to the energy of the groove.
i really appreciate the feedback. i could mess around and see what i can come up with. i did consider adding more to the piano but in the end i kinda wanted to keep it simple. I'll give it a try and i definitely appreciate the advice, thanks. =)
