Thanks for the feedback guys, wasn't really expecting a reply at all! Part of the reason why I didn't see this until now.
I am going to take another look at it (actually haven't opened FL in about a month :S) and try and improve it, particularly in the areas you have highlighted.

Don't particularly want to bump as this topic is already at the top but significant update:
I think I have the overall feel that I want now but I still think the key change after the quasi drop is a bit jarring. Any feedback would be great!
EDIT:
Last version I'm gonna do for now. Intro improved a lot, instruments 'fixed' and the whole thing flows a lot better.

Drums need some (a lot of) work, but that's why it is a work in progress!
I've always liked this source, and I tried to turn it into a dance track but to be honest I think I missed the genre mark a bit. I'm not really sure what it is.
All criticism welcome, and appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
EDIT:
Improved mixing so it isn't so difficult to listen to..:

New to remixing, so I don't really intend on submitting this anywhere, although I would love to learn how to make this mix better. I know this source has been done to death although it is quite simple to work with and also sounds amazing so it was a good place to start remixing.
Any criticism, good/bad/whatever, is welcome because this is all a learning curve for me.
Thanks in advance!

New WIP. I decided to take the bits I liked from the first WIP and build the song up again, while taking into consideration the points raised.
The drums, rises etc. are pretty much placeholder at the moment, I haven't put much thought into them yet. I'm also concerned that the mixing might make it difficult to listen to - this is literally just a basic output from FL at the moment. I'm not sure I really have my head around this whole EQ thing yet so any tips would be appreciated.
I will post up another WIP when I have made more progress, but any feedback would be great in the mean time!
