    Would you care to do a little rundown of how you did the song ? (mix wise)

    Sure! I used a fishman acoustic DI pedal to go direct in with the acoustics. I prefer that to micing personally.

    Rhythms are a scooped heavy tone, clearing up that midrange allows the kick/snare and leads to cut through.

    Leads are super upper mid-range heavy which lets them cut through

    Nice sound and solid playing !

    What are you using to make the tone of your guitar? amp and mic, or some amp sim ?

    If you want a little feedback, I think the mix in some parts gets a little confusing, for example in the beginning or in the end, some instruments clash, I dont know, It could be intentional to give the sound a sense of chaos.

    Anyway, great playing, and if you want check the compos, especcially the regular ones

    MnP and PRC, for me they are a great way to practice and experiment

    Thank you so much for the feedback and the warm welcome! I used the devin townsend crunch setting on Metal Guitar Gods amp sim for my guitar tones. I will definitely get in on some of these competitions :D
