The saga of Donkey Kong Country goes back to the era of the SNES and since then it has been one of Nintendo's most beloved series. During February of 2014, Nintendo released a new Donkey Kong Country game for the Wii U, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, developed by Retro Studios, with assistance from Monster Games.
