I finally got a start on a decent trance sound, but I'm worried I've completely screwed up the sound production and that it just sounds bad. I'm trying to achieve an icy, celestial sound that sounds like someone struggling to up a crystal path and this is how far I've gotten.

I just want to know if the sound quality is as bad as I fear, I definitely need to clean it up. Part of the problem is processing, even though 80% of the instruments are soundfonts, I'm running a lot of processing power to get this song in operation. I think it sounds believable, but thats just my opinion.

Hm, I like the arrangement on this. There's a bit too much reverb in the song, though, try dialing that down.

You also might want to try EQing the kick so it will be more bassy.

The reverb is a possibility, but I hand did all the reverb so I'll need to know what specifically needs to be toned down. I also want to avoid doing any further work on the kick drum because I think its way too easy to overdo that.
