uhh... does this normally happen in Pro tools?

Recommended Posts

I don't normally use pro tools, but my father does and so I decided to take a piano midi I made and essentially remaster it in protools. When I decided to bounce the audio, the mp3 option wasn't available (do you have to purchase it?), so I converted it to a wave file and got

but apparently listening to the bounced wav in another application made it normal (albeit I don't like this piano sound). My question is, is this a common error to experience in pro tools, or did I get something wrong?
